Amrabat is too slow to be a full back

    According to social media it's

    -----------------------------------Onana

    -----Amrabat----------Maguire-------Mount---------Martial

    --------------------------------Garnacho

    ------------Casemiro------------------------Varane

    ------Dalot-----------------Pellistri-----------------Hannibal

Anyone seeing the state of this QPR manager on Gillette Soccer Special?

Gareth Ainsworth? He's a legend for my local team (Wycombe Wanderers). Super nice guy who used to play with his rock band in the town centre around Christmas

Varane and Casemiro in the league cup is bold.

Casemiro maybe, but Varane has been out for a while now and needs minutes. Asking Evans to play two games in 3 days might be asking too much and Lindelof needs a rest. He's been playing with an illness recently.

Quite a few apps saying it could be a 3241, but I think they're just looking at personnel

    Martial
    Garnacho Mount Mejbri Pellistri
    Amrabat Casemiro
    Maguire Varane Dalot
    Onana

I guess this is how we'd look in possession anyway, with Amrabat moving into midfield, and Dalot dropping back to create the three.

    Onana on the LW

    Good side.

Amrabat playing at full back. I just don't know what to say. As Tim Sherwood states, where are the academy players? We haven't a left back?

He definitely looks like he’s in a rock band, I’ve never seen a manager with such a casual look. Fair play to him.

Feel sorry for Amrabat, having to start his career here at LB. But it shows the manager trusts him to do a job. I like that EtH has trusted Hannibal as well. I don't think that particular front 3 have ever played together, so that's equal parts exciting and worrying. We have enough firepower on the bench, hope we don't need them.

I just want to see them score a few goals and not concede. Is that really so much to ask?

I like the fact that we have Bruno, Rashford and Hojlund on the bench to help out in 2nd half if things go wrong.

Amrabat would play full back position. Which side is to be seen, but it's obvious that ETH had tried Amrabat at LB for a minute last game, and ETH doesn't use a conventional 3 at the back.

Hoepfully Casemiro holds out for this game. This midfield looks suspect defensively and Casemiro hasn't had a chance to rest. Useless McTominay missing when this maybe another game he can start.

I'm another that's all aboard the fun bus with the line up. Really looking forward to this now.

PS- People that list a team starting with the striker and working back should be banned. :nono: :)

I'd rather if Lindelof started as RB and Dalot as LB instead of playing Amrabat there but it is what it is.

Good to see Amrabat starting, looks like Maguire’s also playing and will presumably be wearing the captains arm band tonight.
