He does nothing well and that's why Jose wanted rid as soon as his second season. We need a CB for sure, but we need Smalling in now. If Ole sells Smalling and keeps playing Lindelof, he needs to get sacked too.

Pogba finally has competition. Now Shaw & Lindelof need some.

Then when/if Sancho signs we also need another winger to compete with him as well.

Can't say I'm even shocked. The state of this club is just embarrassing.

The passing and lack of urgency is criminal.

Hopefully we'll use this performance as an early wake up call. I knew we'd start slow and probably struggle for a bit due to the lack pre-season.

Crystal Palace comes into this games with just about five games of friendlies and a league cup. Obviously they are ahead of us in just about everything.

when teams sit back like this against us, we have nobody capable of beating a defender and nobody capable of putting in a cross.

As horrible as TFM was, he put in a few semi decent crosses that actually led to a goal.

Shaw, Rashford, Greenwood and James have been horrific with their service.

Bailly needs to start in place of Lindelof after this. But the problem could be Maguire who seems his head is not at it - his organisation and leadership skills are his strength in this defence, and we need it quickly back.
