Smalling is a better bet than Lindelof.. but we persist with him. We persisted with De Gea when he should have been rested. But something needs to give at the top of our club. It really does.

Honestly just need wing players to put in a good cross.

Just look at how our goal came from a decent cross into the box.

We just seem allergic to crossing the ball and always seem to play it sideways and into a crowd.

Rashford and co. can't even seem to beat a defender. No threat whatsoever.

We deserve that. Dithering with transfers, players have barely had enough time to rest and train, brainless substitutions, etc.
Every time we make the Champions league, transfer business subsides so this is the only expected result.
