And that will be against a team that has blown away teams all season and is hungry for the title like never before and playing at home??? Nah.

Crystal Palace will be beaten today at OT today.

This is not last season when we were dropping points to bottom teams. If we are going to drop points it won't be at OT against a team that has not scored a single goal all season

Damn. I'd pay you to be my motivation coach.

FFS. Injuries are starting to kill us. That's Pogba, Jones, Fellaini, Valencia, Martial and now possibly Lukaku

Can't see us losing, but with the injuries we're rumoured to have might be a bit of a struggle to get a comfortable win....

Going for 2 - 0 with a couple of late second half goals....

Oh FFS! Hope it's not true. What is it with all these injuries again?!

Also, made him triple captain on Fantasy PL...

Martial on the left, Rashford up top, Mhiki in behind and Mata on the right should be enough to get a result against Palace.

I'd rather we take zero chances with Lukaku. The last thing we need is for him to further damage the injury and be out for a month or two.

Of course, we should let him fit for the already qualified Belgium international games.

Eh?? I don't get what your saying mate.

I'd rather he play no games at all if there is a risk of further injury.

For all we know this "knock" may be manufactured to get him out of the international duty.

Lukaku was at The Lowry last night
There are reports Lukaku could be a doubt after picking up a knock but he was at the Lowry last night with the rest of the squad.

His bag says he’s ‘Game ready’ so it would be pretty ironic if he wasn’t involved.

I know I'm being childish here but I really want him to play so he at least has a chance to score v a poor Palace side. His rival for the golden boot is Kane and it would be a shame for Lukaku to miss a chance v Palace. He's in great form with 10 goals and we don't want to disrupt that if possible. Fecking injuries

United should fire Mourinho if he manufactured injuries to get players out of international duty by not playing them in Premier League games we must win.

Even without Lukaku, we should beat Palace. Maybe not by 4, but definitely by 2 atleast. They are utterly wank both in attack and defense.

What about without Lukaku, Martial and Fellaini?

What about without Lukaku, Martial and Fellaini?

Nothing to worry about if we have Rashford, Mkhi, Mata and a midfield of Matic and Herrera. Put someone like Young on the wing in place of Martial. Palace is a team we should really be beating even with a weakened 2nd string team.

Martial isn't injured and Lukaku will probably play. Knocks don't keep players out, they sort themselves out after a few hours.

I'm sure that it wouldn't be 100% fabricated.

Let's say that he doesn't get picked today as a precautionary measure on the advice of the medical team. It's possible that the injury could be exaggerated to get him out of the dead rubber internationals.

A lot of international sides now demand that injured players still turn up to be assessed by their medical teams so the point could be moot anyway.

    "Lukaku facing a fitness test"
What the feck is going on?

What's this precautionary non-sense?! Leave Martial and Lukaku out of this far from won game because they might worse their eventual injuries before the international break? Overconfidence, if you ask me. Fortunately, Mourinho never falls for that s…

I have this creepy feeling that Crystal Palace will finally end their pointless streak and get a draw.

Leave it out mate, Palace are going to get a spanking.

    Indeed.
CP are coming to OT, to get beaten soundly. If they escape with conceding 4 goals, they should count themselves lucky.
I do hope we go balls to the wall and hammer them, rather than accepting a narrow win.

Indeed. We need to play a strong team, to ensure we get a good win today.

I’m not one for being over confident but this could be another 4-0. Palace have no striker who could do any damage to us. They’re gonna come here and park the bus, so its about us keeping our composure and being patient when trying to break them down.

The boss confirmed in his pre-match press conference yesterday that Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba and Phil Jones are definitely out, while Antonio Valencia is a “maybe” after also missing the trip to Moscow. (from manutd.com live blog)

So, what was Jones doing at the hotel? Was he being punished?

I will be dreading this game until we score. Hopefully 1st half. 1st half goal is the key.

Mate, CP are bottom of the league and are comfortably the worst team in the league. They haven't even scored a goal!
I wish we could play CP 38 times this season - we'll probably break all kinds of records.

And yet they somehow managed to keep powerful goal scoring Man City aside for 44'.

Fecking hell. We're hear hoping martial is good for the bench and now the story is that Lukaku may not even play

This is why Jose needed to forget about his fetish for 'small squads' when he came here. We have an awful injury record and have done for years. He cannot play his strongest 11 every game, we aren't up to it in fitness terms. He should've have signed a couple more strong squad players for competition and insurance when the injuries inevitable stack up.

We have a very large defensive squad (2/3 extra players) and a tight midfield and attacking squad (doesn't even reach 2 per position). One of the reasons 3-5-2 becomes a good option.

Mate, it's football, anything can happen. :) Despite the fact we really should this one.

Actually we have a large squad.

You like a fair share of drama.
