Is it worth trying Mkhitaryan on the right and Mata as the 10 in this game? Palace have had poor results but theyve played well in most of their games. Benteke will be a handful as will Loftus-Cheek.
Don't believe Mourinho will change anything about the front-line. If forced due to injuries, he might be tempted to twitch it a bit with a ball-playing defense.

Benteke's out injured and Loftus-Cheek is doubtful.

    6-0 United.
    Lukaku
    Martial Mkhitaryan Rashford
    Matic Herrera
    Blind Lindelof Bailly Valencia
    De Gea

Please Mou, go hammer them. Mata hasn't done anything wrong, but I just want to see this. All out attack, and they're by far the worst team in the league.

We really should be winning easily then.

I bet the forwards are licking their lips for this one. 4-0 would be conservative, I think they'll be aiming for six at least.

Why is the premier league giving us a 3pm Saturday KO after playing in Russia on a Wednesday?

It's end of September. It's still the same story, Martial vs Rashford.

    Valencia-Bailly-Chris -Darmian

    ---------Matic---Herrera-------

    ---Mhki------Mata------Rashford

    --------------Lukaku-------------

I think we can afford to rotate for this one.

    Predicting another 4-0.

I have a funny feeling about this one. Palace haven't scored a single goal, don't have a single point, Utd free flowing, scoring for fun.

It's all set up for a 0-0 or 1-0 palace win so that the memes about City scoring 5 ans us failing to even win will circulate. There'll probably be sun in De Gea's eyes too when we concede.

I expect a hard game as Palace will play with nine men behind the ball most of the time. They're low on confidence, can't score and aren't exactly one of the best defensive teams yet (I say yet, as I think Roy will make them harder to beat, but it's the other end which will dictate if they can start getting points). We're going to be missing more players than I thought we would, but this is most definitely a game we should clear even when using squad players.

Pogba, Carrick, and Jones look almost certain to be out, with big doubts on Fellaini. Martial also got that knock last night, though I think he'll be fit enough to make the bench personally. He got himself off the pitch pretty promptly. As for players coming in, Herrera looked like he hadn't been out of the side at all and Chris Smalling hasn't put a foot wrong in any of the games he's started, so there's absolutely no issue with them starting this game. Valencia hasn't been mentioned at all as far as I'm aware, so I'd imagine he was just rested and plays on Saturday. Young & Mkhitaryan being subbed says they start for me:

    de Gea
    Valencia Bailly Smalling Young
    Herrera Matic
    Mata Mkhitaryan Rashford
    Lukaku
    ---
Romero; Blind, Darmian, Lindelof; McTominay, Lingard; Martial

The staring XI almost picks itself, we can go with Valencia and Young at home to Palace as our most offensive available full backs (until Shaw is more fit). The bench is a bit more difficult as if Fellaini is fit enough then he has to be on there. I'd expect McTominay to make the squad if not, as we have a surplus of fit defenders despite Jones' injury, but there's always the chance Tuanzebe or Shaw get in too. One of them will have to if Martial is actually out, which will make it difficult to change the game if it isn't working.

Just one of those matches, once we get the first goal we should make them crumble, but it'd be typical for them to get their first point here with a really determined defensive display. Pivotal we put pressure on Chelsea and City though, big chance of a draw there I reckon.

I hope we make a statement here. At home, against a team in crisis with a rubbish manager. City put 5 past them and we should do similar.

Imagine we'll rotate it would be daft to put the best team out for this. Give some minutes to the fringe they'll still easily beat Palace

Pretty sure Mourinho won't take risks.

Put them to the sword, a merciless twatting the likes of which hasn't been seen since Palace last played.

Palace have not scored yet. Its a certainty they will next Sat. then.Probably a break out goal against the run of play in the first few minutes.

    -------------De Gea------------
    Valencia-Bailly-Lindelof-Young
    ---------Herrera--Carrick-------
    ---------------Mata-------------
    Mkhitaryan------------Rashford
    --------------Lukaku------------

Could maybe see Jose giving Lindelof a league game to ease him in. Nice and comfy home game against Palace is about the best chance he'll get. Matic could also use a rest, and playing 2 defensive midfielders against Palace would be overkill I think.

I would like to see this as well, maybe put Lingard there if Mkhi needs a rest.

    Because they are utter morons.
Really don't get it. We should have asked the EPL to move it. Liverpool played in Moscow on Tuesday but play Newcastle on Sunday. They have two extra days. Who the feck runs that ship?

These low key games just before the international break are the kind where its best to just get through with a minimum of fuss. Im not particularly hoping for a cricket score, despite Palace being garbage. A goal early in each half, no injuries and a few squad players getting minutes would be just the tonic.

    6-0 United.
    Lukaku
    Martial Mkhitaryan Rashford
    Matic Herrera
    Blind Lindelof Bailly Valencia
    De Gea

Mata played 0 minutes in europe so I think it is best to start with him as he has done well so far and is well suited to play against Palace. Martial could start over Rashford, but otherwise we have a strong bench and can give them minutes in the second.

Although I would be tempted to rest Matic and play with Herrera, Mata and Mkhitaryan centrally lol alhough that would be too attacking haha.

I'd play Smalling over Lindelof mainly because they have Benteke. So we need someone strong in the air to deal with him. Mata will also probably play as he is well rested. Young to start as LB.

For all home games bar against top 6 i will put choose 4-0 home win in score prediction. We are making it look very easier

Mourinho should tell the boys he's considering this a game with a handicap of 3. When we're 3-0 up, it's 0-0. There needs to be urgency, hunger. That way, we rip them to shreds. Otherwise, complacency could make this a banana skin.

We really ought to win this one comfortably, they are by far the worst team in the league at the moment and in complete disarray. I got a feeling we will concede though but I expect us to hit 4 or 5.

Martial won't start this one BTW.

We're the most watertight team in the league and Palace are allergic to goals.

Which means they're nailed on to get their first this weekend.

We will win this one and then struggle after the international break.

Get the 3 points before City travels to Chelsea. Add a bit more pressure like those good old Fergie days.

I think this will be the team
    -------------DDG------------
    Valencia-Bailly-Smalling-Young
    ---------Herrera--Matic -------
    ---------------Mata ------------
    Mkhitaryan---Lukaku---Rashford

Lingard/Martial/Fellaini to come in as subs

    Lukaku
    Rashford Mata Lingard
    Matic Herrera
    Young Smalling Bailly Valencia
    De Gea

I wouldn't get caught up in those dreams of a cricket score here.
With points to be dropped at Chelsea v City, lets keep it professional, do the job, very satisfied with a 2-0 going into the International break.

The danger of these matches is that CP's atrocious streak has to end sooner or later. Will it be against Man Utd? Find out in the next episode of DBZ.

This is it. This is the game where we finally do it. This is where we score that fifth goal.

Anything less and José should be sacked and Lukaku sold. Honestly.
