Hope nothing happens to Pogba today, we need him badly for the final but fairplay to him for wanting to play. Hopefully a few of the kids turn in decent performances. I'm sticking with 1-0, Rooney penalty.

Not sure why we would be wearing black armbands. The players should extend their support in private for such things.

Hope I can find a decent river to sit next to to watch the match updates as I'm excited to see our young players!

I was about to say we're all jumping the gun abit. Nothing has been confirmed. I still think he will be here next season unless he announces before the final it's his last game.

My personal opinion is he isn't good enough anymore and shouldn't be around the starting 11 anymore but what I think and what JM knows are very much different.

No, sadly not. If the substitution does happen around the 80-90 minute mark for Rooney it will all but confirm it.

Should we get rid of Martial, Mkhi and Maya too then? Rooney goes because he's been declining for a while. Our recent poor form shouldn't be attributed solely to him while other players get a free pass. Apparent game changers have done little to assure that we will be any good with Rooney out, especially when big guns like Pogba and Ibra aren't available.

I don't think we'll play an attacking midfielder against Ajax. The midfield trio of Fellaini, Pogba and Herrera have worked well in previous games. I expect it to be the same come Wednesday.
