And also what has happened to Di Maria is exactly as I feared when he first joined is too. He was still using his form and confidence from Madrid in his first 4/5 games. But now that the performances from the rest of the team and the results have been so poor, it's affecting him now too. This has happened many times before at other clubs too.

I don't think Di Maria is struggling because the other players are, I just think playing him on the wing limits his threat hugely. Way more unpredictable when in centre.

We still look dodgy defensively playing 4-3-3. It's the opposition's inability to score that has hidden that. City could have had 10. Palace could have 2. We lack creativity which we didn't see in 4-4-2 diamond but we're apparently more secure defensively despite giving just as many chances away.
