    I think we'll register a resounding win.

We've only taken 1 point from our last 2 games, against the best 2 sides in the league, but I think we can take a lot of encouragement from those games.

Hopefully we don't underestimate Palace, but we should attack them hard, not give them a moments peace and hopefully notch 3 or 4 goals. High energy and pressing like we did in the 2nd half against City. Win all those 2nd balls, and don't let them get comfortable.

I hope Falcao is fit and starts. Seems like ages ago since we signed him, but we've not what he's capable of yet. He looked sharp against Everton, but just seemed to snatch at a few of his chances. Hoping it will be a comfortable game and he can play a little more calmly.

Clean sheet. Falcao brace. Fellaini screamer. Rooney tap in. Have it!

    This please

With obvious changes in case of injury.

    De Gea
    Rafael McNair Blackett Shaw
    Blind
    Fellaini Di Maria
    Herrera
    Falcao/Van persie Rooney

crush this 4 or 5 -0 and the media will surely with us.. lose this it will get harder for lvg.. i suppose.. because pressure is the last thing we need for this team

    Must win game for us.
We need to play a diamond this time to maximize Di maria and need either Herrera/Carrick in there. The 4-2-3-1 makes us defensively a bit secure but it makes us extremely clunky in attack and it's not like we have much to defend for considering all 4 of our first choice CB's are out.

Despite the result against City, I'm really positive and excited about this team.
    COME ON UNITED!!!

This. I think we have played pretty good football even though our form isn't that admirable, at least our games have been entertaining to watch compared to the last few seasons.

I hope our attackers get plenty of goals in this and the next few matches to get really going. There's been a sense of us having a goalfest in many games, hope it materializes against Crystal Palace like it did against QPR.

I wouldnt be adverse to keeping Carrick in there at CB for a while for his experience. Though another part of me would also like to see him alongside Blind in a 4-2-3-1.

Assuming he goes in defence then put Fellaini next to Blind, Herrera, Di Maria and Rooney in front of them and Falcao up front, or RVP if he is still out.

De Gea; Rafael Carrick, McNair Shaw; Blind, Fellaini, Di Maria, Herrera; Rooney, Falcao

I'd go with the diamond, with Evans or Jones coming in for McNair if they are fit.

Van Persie will start, of course. In truth, I'd rather start Wilson alongside Rooney than him. His pace would cause them problems.

I predict 0-5, sendings off for us and probably more injuries I expect

    7-0. Falcao with 6.

I love this post. How awesome would it be if Falcao bangs in 6 goals. The ABU brigrade would go hide in their dark pit

They have joined hands & are at their loudest now (Pool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea fans all have come together) to talk crap about united, even though they know United played well in the last 2 games. They are Labelling Falcao as a crock & Di Maria a flop. I am waiting for us to twat them real good at Emirates, when they lose they disappear from the face of the earth while #WengerOut brigrade raises it's ugly head.

Edit : Arsenal Fans are spreading this pic right now, conveniently ignoring that Sanchez has played most minutes & has been playing in one more competition right now, He has scored 7 goals in PL so for, 4 out of those have come against Sunderland & Burnley in the last 2 games. They also, do not realize this stat shows they are a one man team

    Dave
    Rafael - Carrick - McNair - Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera - AdM
    Fellaini
    Rooney - RvP

    --------------------------------------De Gea------------------------------------
    --Rafael------------------McNair-----------------Evans--------------Shaw---
    ---------------------------------------Carrick----------------------------------
    --------------------------Herrera------------------Di Maria--------------------
    ----------------------------------------Rooney---------------------------------
    ------------------------------Januzaj------------Van Persie

Need to smash these and go into the Arsenal game 100% looking for a win.

I don't care if it's pretty, just fecking win!!!!!!! Much like my sex life tbf...

Defence is difficult to say with all the injuries but I hope upfront we play:

Blind, Herrera, ADM, Mata, Januzaj, Rooney

If Falcao is fit, play him and drop Mata

If Falcao is Fit I would play:

    Rafa(fit??) Paddy Carrick Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera - ADM
    Rooney
    Wilson - Falcao

    OR:

Rafa- Paddy - Blacket - Shaw
    Carrick-Blind- ADM
    Herrera
    Rooney - Falcao

Ultimatlly, I would love us to come back to Diamond as we are so exciting to watch then, however for this to work out we need Rafa to be fit as he plays a crucial role in this system.

LvG prefers to stick with the same formation and same set of players. He generally plays a consistent 11 as in his previos clubs. Fellaini Blind Di Maria Januzaj Rooney will all start. I just hope LvG starts Falcao/ Wilson instead of van Persie. van Persie can do with some rest, and him coming on a substitue against a tired CP defense would be awesome. He will get/ create more chances in the last 20 minutes.

    our team I hope

    ----------------------DDG--------------------------
    Rafael--------Evans-------Jones-----------Shaw
    -------Herrera-----Carrick-------Di Maria--------
    ---------------------Rooney------------------------
    --------------Falcao----------RVP------------------

Subs: Anders, Rojo, Blind, Mata, Januzaj, Valencia, Wilson

    start of a winning run

Gutted about Sunday, but also shocked we managed to push on and nearly get a point from the game. I thought we where going to get hammered after that first goal went in.

13 points from 10 games isn't good enough, but I think most United fans with eyes and a brain can see that we are playing a lot better than last year. Van gaal has a harder job than moyes did, he's taken over a team with no confidence, (not champions) a squad of players that needed to be sold and replaced, he's had to work out a system that gets the best out of the team and he's had to start all of this late because of the World Cup. So comparing moyes and van gaals situation Is lazy and wrong imo.

Saying all of that we are still 10th, but lucky that everyone around us and above us is either West Ham, Southampton or awful (except for Chelsea) and if we Was to go on a three game winning streak, we would probably find our self in 4th place.

As for crystal palace, I'm confident we'll beat them. I think fellaini doesn't deserve to be dropped, but I also think herrara doesn't deserve to have three games in a row where he doesnt play at all. So I would start him and fellani.

    De gea
    Rafa
    Carrick
    McNair
    Shaw

    Blind
    Fellani
    Di Maria

    Herrera
    Rooney
    Wilson

I think that's our best midfield, I think james Wilson should start instead of being brought on late, in the hope that he'll help see the game out or get a goal. Di Maria needs to play in midfield, it's clear that this is his best position. Even if falcao is fit he wouldn't start because van gaal is weird about players getting put back into a team when they've been injured for a while, so I dont expect to see him in the starting lineup for a couple weeks.

Good god living in north London there is nothing more unbearable than arsenal fans.Honestly the ball is in our court looking at our next 10 games every single one of them is easily winnable with the hardest game being against these g00ns.

Obviously football is not played on paper but if we keep our team fit(easier said than done) and playing the way we can we should be able to take 25 out of 30 points from those games. The dippers are only a point ahead and they have Chelsea this week while we have crystal palace, so we should in theory go above them, beat arsenal and we should only be a point behind them also, so even though we have had a horrid start the teams we are competing against have given us a big big lifeline by being absolute dog also.

This is it now no more excuses no more"we are showing great stuff we will get there soon enough" The time has come for van gal to show his worth and really kick on in these next 10 games.

Also di maria has to play in a midfield 3 in my opinion, we are limiting our best attacking player and that does not make sense at all.

I think we would beat Arsenal at Emirates, i just want it to be a convincing win. **fingers crossed*
When we went into the last international break in top-4 & Arsenal at 8th-9th, their response was it's just 7 games. Now they are very loud making fun of us

The hardest game for us would be Southampton away, as they have only conceded 5 goals in 10 matches so far.

Interesting analysis by Gary Neville on MNF about how RVP is still making the right runs but our midfielders are not spotting them & passing the ball to him at the right time.

I don't know what to think of Southampton at the moment tbh, I haven't watched them enough i saw them lose to the dippers but other than that only seen glimpses on match of the day, they dont seem to have had the hardest of fixtures but then again I doubt they were any easier than ours.. I just cant see them keep this sorta form for much longer and they have a crazy run of fixtures after their next 2.

Yeh all my pals are g00ner fans but you will never hear them talk about football unless they are on a good run.

They have lost their 2 games to the Dippers & Spuds. They are on a great run & their midfield and strikers are working very hard to shield the defence too. Also, they are scoring some great goals. They would not be easy to beat, our defence is a massive concern. I would play Carrick as a CB for now.

If Herrera's fit then i'd like to see him come in for Fellaini. As good as the big man has been, there's no need for his physical presence and man marking in a game such as this, for which a player such a Herrera is better suited. We've lacked a bit of creativity since he became injured, and in very simplified terms it's time we went back to playing football on the ground.

Get Mata in for this game. I think Rooney on his own can be a presence and certainly better than RVP ambling around and getting easily marked out of the game.

    De Gea

    Rafael
    McNair
    Carrick
    Shaw

    Blind

    Fellaini
    Herrera
    Di Maria

    Mata

    Rooney

I expect RVP to be stuck with though. I'd like this eleven to have a go.

Januzaj and McNair aren't in the U21 squads, and based on the fact that Adnan has started the previous three suggests to me that both these guys are likely to start against Crystal Palace.

Hopefully Rafael will be fit... I heard he's been training again (I think). Based on that hopeful assumption, but also based on Falcao not likely to be ready to start I'd go with:

    ----Di Maria---Rooney---Januzaj
    ---------Herrera --- Fellaini
    ---------------Blind
    Shaw-Mcnair- Carrick (I guess??) - Rafael

    So that's a 4-1-2-3, I suppose.

When is Johnny Evans ever coming back anyway?

Given our defensive woes and the fact that our attack has not been outstanding either, they will come at us knowing they can easily force us into mistakes that will lead to goals. I don't expect this to be an easy game, they are going to give us a real difficult match. It is time for some players to step up and take the team on their back and delivery a win, then follow that up with a few more.

Watching Palace play now and if they are this dire on Saturday we should be able to play a couple of fecking training cones at CB and still beat them.

Christ I'm watching Palace now and they're dire, if we can't beat these lot I'm seriously going to question Van Gaal.
