Palace looks like taking this game if 2nd half is played out the same way it ended at the break.
??
He's been one of our better players
Started ok, absolutely fecking dire at the end there.
Rojo off for Darmian at HT. No debate.
Mata and Valencia doing their usual on the right. Valencia gets on the ball in decent positions but as per usual hasnt got the brains to do the right thing, ever. Mata and Fellaini haven't helped, constantly taking up stupid positions on the edge of the box and not moving.
Overloading on the right is leaving Martial exposed on the left, and he's getting little to no support from Rojo because he's clearly too scared of Zaha to cross the half way line. He'll be even more scared now he's on a yellow.
Fellaini is supposed to be a great header of the ball, right? I mean that's at least two great chances completely wasted. The rest of the time he spends fouling opposition players. I guess it will never be clear why we continue to play him.
We must have one of the clumsiest back four in recent footballing history. They aren't being shielded by the completely immobile Carrick, Rooney Fellaini axis, who are really error-prone, which will certainly result in more ridiculously nervous moments in defense. Palace are growing into the game, whereas we are occupied with trying to locate the afro of Fellaini.
It will be really tight and I just hope that it isn't one of our defenders that makes the costly mistake.
Murphy is matching him on BBC I'm afraid.Switched to BBC. McManananaman was driving me nuts with his Rooney best midfielder ever, anti-United approach.
Danny Murphy speaking sense. Though Fellaini hasn't been that bad this half.
Exactly right, zlatan is brilliant but hes not a god. Its the same old issue that we just dont produce anywhere near enough chances for our strikers. If we had Zlatan he wouldve spent half the game hands on hips, wondering why he left the French champions for this
Not quite Andrea Bocelli is it?
Because the defender was with them all the way, despite Smalling on the ground he was still able to get to his feet and pressure Wickham. Palace players only had that burst on goal after the ref blew and the defenders and keeper stopped playing.Clattenburg stopping play on the Smalling foul and Rojo foul has saved United so far. Can't for the life of me understand why play wasn't allowed to continue.
No. Fellaini was held while heading in the box, that's just a foul and a penalty, it doesn't matter he headed it anyway. He should have played the advantage, but it's not like it would have been huge chances. And they got away without a yellow card a few times the shouldn't.We're very lucky so far with refereeing decisions.
Rooney takes far too long to make decisions to be effective in midfield, and both him and Carrick have been sloppy with their passing. Fellaini is the same, but he's obviously not there to control the game. Having three midfielders who are slow in every aspect of the game just won't do when playing a possession game against a wall of Palace defenders.Rooney and carrick have been good
Fellaini has been ok
I will give you blind who looks off the pace
Rooney is really taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Box box and full of energy, hope it will pay off in the second half. Only change i'd make at this point is unleash Ashley for Mata, we need to hit them with more pace from the wings. Force their defense into making mistakes.
Really hoped we would have scored in the first half. This could become a stink.
Is that true?30th time this season no first half goal for us
Be interesting to see how Smalling performs at the Euros.Hope Jose is watching and tells Woodward we need two CB's.
Has he? I have no real problem with Mata and i'd suggest more pace in midfield ideally but we simply don't have any options for that on the bench
I was really excited for this match, now i am contemplating sleeping.
Unfortunately, yep!Is that true?
Wow

We won every ball and have had the only chances in the game.I wouldn't call it domination. We were all over them for the beginning part of the half but Palace have been slowly getting into the game and were becoming more threatening than us by halftime.
What are you on about? Nobody can literally be this stupid. Blind doesn't give up at all, your reasoning for him is baffling while Rojo has no chance of getting around in the first place. It is clearly a huge goalscoring opportunity.Yup, so have you watched it? You notice Blind (player 1) slow and slide in with little effort? Did you notice Rojo stop completely and start walking away (player 2) did you notice DDG stand completely still? (player 3). Is that what you call a 'clear goal scoring chance'?
Phil's back!
