Remember what we used to say years back:

If it's May then Manchester United are lifting a trophy !

Fully deserved win. We've created more chances and played generally better. Great goal by Lingard.

You are saying that C.Palace can cause us problems.
We played them a few weeks ago and they were worse than A.Villa.
We beat them 2:0 on that occasion and it was very straight forward.

    Here is the report: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35733434
Shots on target: MUFC: 10, CP: 0

It was as if their players had accepted a 2:0 loss, before they even stepped on the pitch.
They were so bad, I felt embarrassed for their fans, who turned up to cheer such weak minded, defeated players.

For them to beat us, we would need to reduce our performance (unlikely, because we play like robots) AND they would need to significantly improve their own performance.

Well, wasn't my post spot on? Predicted that the game will be decided in extra time as well.

I just think it's the funniest shit when they lift the trophy and the lid goes flying

May have been US TV but the atmosphere did not sound so good. Commentators were saying it was great, just didn't sound like it at my end. The few songs that came across clearly were Palace songs. Most of the time just sounded noisy without being able to make out who was singing.

Thanks for bringing back the FA Cup, LVG, you can bow out on a high now.

The game was a very frustrating one and absolute proof that we're making the right decision in parting company with him, it was the same dominate possession but create little tactic that we've become accustomed to but a great comeback in the end.

    Bring on Mourinho.

I saw a photo of Cantona this morning. He's looking more and more like Moses, which is apt because of the way the sea of 'Pool players opened up before his eyes when his FA Cup final goal went in. Lingard's shot found its way past 3 + the keeper.

    By the rivers of Babylon........:)
