The FA cup is all we have left this season. Top 4 would be a long term disaster.

Champions League football keeps the club relevant and investors happy. It also affects the ability to attract players, and has an impact on the wage structure of the club.

There are lots of reasons beyond challenging that play a part in its significance.

Another season without Champions League football would be disastrous.

One way or another, I think the next manager has already been decided.

This is how it starts! Could you imagine there being empty seats in numbers like we're seeing tonight if we were playing attacking football, and up there fighting for the league? Even if we had an FA Cup semi final on the weekend, it would still be close to packed tonight.

It looks dreadful on TV, loads of free seats near the pitch. Can only hope the Glazers take notice.
