  • Nothing really different from a Ten Hag lineup but hopefully a much better performance. No idea what to expect from this game, but I'm hoping for the best with a new manager bounce and a few goals in the game. Very youthful bench right now, so the starting team are going to need to be on it.

    2 DMs in Ugarte and Casemiro is a difference.
     
    Amad comes on for a player who did absolutely nothing midweek and looked amazing, so naturally he's benched today. An under appreciated factor in our current predicament is that playing well and being rewarded or playing badly and getting dropped, stopped being a thing here a very, very long time ago.

    The new manager really has to change this.

    It is either that or there might be a reason that neither Ole, ETH and Ruud are starting Amad. Maybe he just isnt good enough to deserve to start over Rashford or Garnacho.

    I've said plenty of times I don't really know what our best line up actually is but I think that's probably pretty close to it.

    Rashford was never going to be dropped against Chelsea, but if he doesn’t perform today then he’s very likely to be replaced by Amad when we have some favourable fixtures coming up.
     
    Man, that bench is pathetic.

    Would rather have seen Amad to start on the right.

    This match could really wind up being a major moment in our season. A big win here and there's a ton of momentum and hope going into the Ruben era.
     
    Not that he had any options, but I'm glad Ruud kept the same midfield as last time. Ugarte needs to do a job against Palmer.
     
    United hold almost zero fear factor these days and the line-up never has a particular player for the opposition to look out for. It's a big problem.

    Really need to hope young Garnacho has a magic moment in him to win the game today.

    So if we win today (a big if having seen to two XIs), we're only 4 points off fourth despite our worst ever stat to a Premier League season.

    Ole? Amad was barely 18 when he came over. Ole said himself that amad was one for the future.

    I don’t think ETH thought about playing casimeiro and Ugarte together. I’m excited and nervous but I think this is our strongest team available to us.
     
    We need composure and discipline in defense, shackles off in attack. Then we can get a result.

    Did he ever pick Ugarte and Casimero together to start?? Not that Ruud had much choice today
     
    Im bouncing between a 3-2 win or a 2-2 draw. I think there definitely will be a few goals.
     
    we're going 4-2-3-1.same setup as ETH's pas 2.5 years. But hope managerial bounce on display. nothing to lose.

    the starting 11 picked itself today, most important thing is to keep it compact and not allow spaces, sit back if we have to, if we concede early, that's it for this team.

    It’s because Rashford is useless coming off the bench. Might as well gamble for the first half to see if Rashford decides to show up today.

    He isn't being replaced by anybody. If he's fit he's playing.
     
    Team prediction was easy for this one.

    Expecting a 2-1 loss, maybe a 1-1 tie.
     
    Got all 11 of the starting team right, interim manager but still very much starting a team that the former manager would have started against Chelsea today if still around.
     
    Come on Reds...the atmosphere in the stadium should absolutely be our 12th mam today. Players should play with freedom and Bruno to be his best version...please.
