Be cool Ole, just be cool.

Put the 11 who's mind is in the game.
    We need sharpness.

That rules out Pogba, Matić, Maguire.
To be fair, the latter two have never shown their minds being out of a game and a lack of motivation, and Pogba helped us win the midfield battle after he came on on Tuesday simply by virtue of being a better footballer than Ander, Danilo and Gueye. I agree that Matic and Maguire shouldn’t play though, but I think Pogba should.

They must have thought highly of Pellistri in training. Looking forward to him making his debut at some stage.

The 352 I expect, with James or Greenwood in for martial. Cavani off bench. Maguire for tuanzebe.

Not saying what I want but what I predict. Really need to get at this Chelsea defence and trust Fred and McTominay most of any combo to keep us solid. Get Telles right up

I just can’t get my head around those selections on here that include Maguire and / or Pogba. Have you learnt nothing?
Pogba I agree but let's not pretend we have an abundance of good centre backs after one game. Lindelof has been worse than Maguire this season.

Did you miss Maguire playing well v Newcastle and coming back strong with a key goal?

Let's no rewrite history. Lindelof has not been any worse than Maguire. Just because we didn't pay £80m for him, it doesn't mean we can slander him to excuse Maguire's shite performances.

Actually we have : Vs PSG second half territory: 36.4% – before Pogba ↓ 53.1% – after Pogba. Do you want to contain or attack?!
What have you/you learned? some people are just blinded by their dislike of Paul and just wanting to be right even when the facts show that they are wrong.
Can injury-prone Axel start 2 games in 5 days after not starting for 10 months?! Very risky call.

I would love to see another 4-0 win against these lot especially after all the cash they’ve spunked this summer. Unfortunately this could really go either way. I would go with the same team that beat PSG but with Mason or Cavani replacing Martial and I think it’s obvious Ole will put Maguire straight back in, just hope it’s in place of Lindelöf and not Tuanzebe though as harsh as it is on Victor who played well mid week we need Axel’s pace against Werner.

Difficult team for Ole today, especially after the PSG game.

Massive conundrum around Maguire and Pogba.

Would be a bit unfairto drop any of the team from midweek, tricky one!

He was rightly dropped for Bailly just a couple of games ago. Unfortunately Bailly is even worse.

    Ddg
    Tuanzebe Lindelof Maguire
    AWB Van Beek Pogba Telles
    Bruno
    Greenwood Rashford

    Subs cavani Matic james

    United win 2-1

I always have the feeling Ole wants an excuse to put Pogba back in. Maguire will be back for sure though.

I'd be truly baffled if we play that team.
Makes little sense given what we know about Chelsea, but if it's true, that team also did very well for its purpose of closing game for 75 mins before allowing some ball players on to win the game (Pogba, Telles, Cavani?).

The reason I'd be surprised is that Leipzig are one of the best high energy pressing teams in the world and Fred and McT would be best in our squad to help deal with that in 4 days time.

Surprising if that's the team. Resting the likes of McT and Fred would be more beneficial in the long run surely.

He could have at least rested one of them, it's not like we're short on options in midfield right now.

Nah, this is the kind of game a McT/Fred midfield is made for. Would’ve liked to have seen VdB or Greenwood starting, but the lineup makes sense.

James and Mata starting? fecking hell :wenger::lol:

Tell me how James starting with the options we have makes any kind of sense.
If Ole doesn't feel confident starting Cavani or Greenwood as the CF then Rashy has to and we don't have a ton of options for LW after Rashy.
At least as long as VdB struggles to get starts.
