    That would be a reasonable excuse if every game we seem to playing recently didn't just look like it is all about the points and never about the performance.
     
    What would happen if we never won or drew another game? Any possibility that MUFC would be relegated?
     
    Drop Lukaku and play front three of Rashford, Sanchez and Lingard?

    We're setting up a deep defensive line anyway, and for better counter attacks, need pace and energy.

    Mata is not suitable for this, and our front three to high press hassle Chelsea's defenders to no end.

    This is a must win. I hope the manager shows some bollocks and actually sets the team up to win.
     
    Many would take the draw after our last few performances and Chelsea last game against Barca.
     
    A true 6 pointer, this. A loss for either team could send them off into a tail-spin unable to recover. We need to win this.
     
    If Chelsea win this then we are only 1 point away from 5th place and Europa League again. I have supported Mourinho all season long and think he needs to stay for a few years but if we end up 5th he needs to go.

    You could say both teams are already in a tail spin based on recent PL results. We lost to fecking New Castle last week. New Castle!

    Look at the game at home against Chelsea last season mate there's no way Mourinho doesn't set out the team to win. He would love to get one over Conte again.

    My morale as a fan is low atm.
    Can't imagine how I'd feel if we park the bus and still don't win.

    I feel the same right now. Just like my intuition was telling me we would be parking the bus against Sevilla and would probably produce some horrible football, my expectations for this game are similar, considering Herrera is injured for around a month, if not more.

    I see us setting up to play 3-5-2 to negate Chelsea's system and get protection on the wings.

    Do we have three fit centre halves? Bailly was on bench midweek so might be a big ask to throw him in. Please not Darmian..

    Maybe one of Carrick or Matic can take place in the back 3? I have no idea about Bailly's fitness levels or if Rojo could be ready for the game. You could be right and we could see Darmain playing instead.

    Blind positivity.

    We've been garbage for weeks.
    Not expecting it to turn against Chelsea.
    Its a big game and we all know how Jose will set up the team .

    United will be 4th by the weekends finish
     
    I reckon we should be able to get a draw at the very minimum but expect a tight win. It would be nice Mourinho plays Martial and does not take another dumb decision with the starting line-up.

    I'd be worried if conceded first though.
     
    I keep wondering if we might see 3 at the back for this but then that would leave us with no CB on the bench and we'd have to switch formation if we got an injury. I also wonder if McTominay will play, Jose has been wet about him so I think it's possible we see the same midfield 3 that finished the Sevilla game and then I think Lingard in over Mata in the front 3.
     
    If Liverpool can put 4 past city wtf are we worried about before the game even starts?
    Jose needs to pick the best 11 for this game regardless of names and throw the kitchen sink.

    Hope we can start picking up some form again.
     
    We need to win though, top 4 isn't secure just yet.
     
    With how the second half of our season has gone, it's getting harder to be positive, for me anyway, but I'm hoping, with what's at stake and with us being home, it will be one of those days where more clicks than doesn't!

    I hope his current 'best 11' doesn't include McTominay.
     
    This is a must win game for us, it is going to be massive regardless of the result.
    We simply have to win.

    We should be second easily our form has plummeted we have to win this game
     
    Becoming a matter of pride to win this, can't stand the gloating by Liverpool and Chelsea fans if we slip down the table.

    We keep saying that, and then we are faced with this situation of being ahead of them in the table, we had a better result in Europe, we're facing them at OT… and they still look favorites.
     
    Heavy pressure on us tomorrow. Hopefully will be enough to force us to perform.

    Because we have Jose Mourinho in charge. He wouldn't allow us to score 4 goals. We'd score 1 and then shut up shop and camp on the edge of our box. He would never throw the kitchen sink even in a must win game.
     
    Usually we bottle it, when we are under pressure. Chelsea got the momentum going from the Barca game. I see us losing this
