I'd attribute his reaction to what happened after Willian has shot i.e when willian's decision has been made. It's heat of the moment, if he reflects on it after he should know much better than I that there is far more to saving than reaction, it's anticipation and positioning and he could not certainty anticipate or cover for every possible outcome. Willian just had too many options.
There's a lot of us imagining the same thing, and I don't think we're in a remake of The Stand.We need to be a lot better in possession and out full backs need to improve. The possession should be converted into more balls getting to our front three. They can be very dangerous.
