Thats probably the most alarming goal we've conceded for a while tbh. Chelsea did well but our players were all over the place and all of them made wrong decisions.

Good reaction though, Martial celebrating Lukaku score by shaking his fists while on the floor was a nice touch :lol:

His stats are good so far this season. The big picture though, is that he's failed to establish himself as a starter for almost two years, since Mourinho came.

Obviously I would keep Martial and Lingard knowing how they developed this season, but I would not have been as patient as Mourinho.

I don't understand how matic gets away with so little criticism. Hes supposed to be the main man in the midfield. He hasn't had a really good game since November. If he stood up then he could pull the other younger players with him.

Also after 30 mins we have changed to a diamond' ish formation
Sanchez is playing behind Martial and Lukaku with Pogba left and MCtominay on right. I hope we keep this formation as it suits everyone.

True but we look pretty crap going forward. We’ve been having a hard time keeping the ball even. Kante is Kante but he hasn’t been prominent. Drinkwater is just space filling so far. I'm quite enjoying this game tbh. We're better than the last couple of games. Willian and Hazard are world class players and hard for anyone to contain.

Unfortunately our worldies are not performing as well. Alexis, Pogba and DDG aren't exactly terrible but not exactly amazing either.

Valencia is the only out and out bad performer for me.

I thought he's been good other than for the goal. On the goal he backed out of a 50/50 header with Kante that he would have easily won. That header started the counter attack...

Young is having a mare. Moses taking advantage of his right-footed nature and going down his outside every time where Young doesn’t want to tackle with his left. He’s offering nothing going forward either - and neither is Martial - with poor crosses.

Shaw for Young would likely be a sensible change for the second half.
