Early opportunity for Charlton. Should have done better.
I feel like Maguire is a better 4th choice CB if we're actually striving to be great. I'd hate to have one of varane or Martinez get injured and then Maguire is starting every match.. he's just really not good enough and physically/mentally too slow, IMO.I've seen Elanga score some good goals for us and in the reserves and for the swedish youth teams.. he has had a rough 18 months or so.. but he hasnt had a nailed on spot either.. I am not writing him off just yet... I'd give him 2 years .. easily.
If we play teams like Charlton he is an excellent choice.

We do, Lindelof.Martinez didn’t exactly have a great start to second half.In the first third McFred don't even help in recycling possession. They just leave everything to the CBs. As big of a joke as Maguire can be he's pretty much shouldering the responsibility of advancing playa good night to go out on penalties.
