Oh no, it's match day! I don't think I've been this uninterested in watching us since the dark days of LVG

I'd like to see Shaw back.
Don't want to see AWB though.

    Also, could VDB please start?
Aaaaand could we see Sancho and Greenwood please?

Also, i wouldn't like to see Rashford.

    DDG
    Dalot - Varane - Eric - Shaw
    Fred
    Greenwood - VDB - Sancho
    Cavani - Ronaldo

    I would agree with this.
Long term I would like to see Lindelof alongside Varane as I think they would be much better than Maguire/Varane.

With Bruno suspended it's a great chance for VDB to get 90 minutes... it's not like he should be tired!

    DDG

    Dalot Lindelof Varane Shaw

    McTominay VdV

    Greenwood Sancho

    Cavani Rashford

Hopeful of a 1-0 win, as long as there's no brainfarts in the defense we should be able to keep a clean sheet.

The opening 15 minutes we better see some fecking intensity and genuine pressing, no excuses. If they stroll around tonight then transfer list the lot of them.

I think I will crack up if Rashford is starting. I cant take another evening of him running into people and breaking down attacks. He can stay on the bench and say his prayers

Probably 0-0. Our attacking play is horrendous the last few games so hard to see us creating many chances.

De Gea wasn’t in training yesterday but probably just a rest after his heroics, right?
Maybe it’s just for squad morale? Probably they can’t score anything even in training, so RR decided it would be better to give de Gea a day off.

We seem to struggle to score even 1 goal per game, these days.

This is going to be a struggle. 2 goals in this game at most and even that is being over optimistic.

I'm sorry, "Ronaldo doesn't deserve to start this match" yet you start Rashford? Ronaldo hasn't had the ball enough up top with his graveyard shift, hospital ball after hospital ball from those behind, he's shown he has the legs and that's not an issue but he needs a foil. Martial or Cavani would suit Ronaldo up top for me

It's agendas isn't it. Rashford has been shite ALL season along with most of the squad (Maguire included). Most sensible football fans agree that Ronaldo and De Gea are only United's saving Grace the rest of the players are Gash. Yet some posters prefer to make Ronaldo the Scapegoat and try to make out that isn't agendas.. come on. I wonder what their excuses will be if Ronaldo doesn't start against Burnley tonight and the team struggles?!

The same posters who will put Bruno straight back into the team after his suspension. Even if Donny or whoever replaces him has a Worldie tonight.

If Bruno "has credit in the bank" so should a genuine GOAT in Ronaldo.

Standards on the floor from these new United fans who probably can't remember the Fergie glory days etc. Some posters seem to weirdly bizarrely have convinced themselves last season was a Golden Age (just because United got 2nd but that was also due to the other top 4 imploding including Liverpool who had a massive defensive injury crisis they don't have this season and it was played with no fans in stadiums due to Covid) and United was amazing blowing teams away without Ronaldo and everything was fine which wasn't the case we still have the same problems we have now we never pressed well as a team etc.. That's why United ended up in the Europa League.. we haven't this season because of one man; Ronaldo

Ronaldo is playing the graveyard shift. It's a miracle he's scored as many goals as he has with little to no service. Look at how many chances Liverpool, Chelsea and City create!

You wouldn't drop De Gea after 2 bad games especially if the defenders let him down (which the midfield let Ronaldo down), so you shouldn't drop Ronaldo either.

I get dour LVG vibes with us at the moment. Going to make Burnley look like peak Jose's Inter.

It isn't an agenda. Rashford was awful on Monday and yet somehow out performed Ronaldo is basically every single stat. He isn't immune to criticism.

I don’t get the hate vanGaal gets. Sure, not the greatest football but We were building a good tactical side. If he got more time We would be a very good team. Hard to beat.

    DDG
    Dalot - Varane - Lindelof - Shaw
    Donny - Fred
    Sancho - Elanga
    Greenwood - Cavani

    Please
We need to change it up a little

    de Gea
    Dalot Varane Maguire Telles
Sancho van de Beek Matic Rashford
    Ronaldo Cavani

Would quite like to see something like this..

Shaw needs to come back, telles has not showed enough.

'sigh' no one has which is strange because there's always atleast one player who gets a surge of confidence when a new manager comes in.
But you're not seeing that with any one of the players after Ralf's appointment.

More time with horrible transfers he made?
There was a plan sure but we looked clueless out there, just passing it around and barely having a shot, let alone a goal.

    DDG
    Dalot Maguire Varane Shaw
    Matic McTominay
    Sancho/Rashford VDB
    Ronaldo Cavani

Is what I expect, some because of form, some because of the quick turn-around from the last game.

If Donny doesn't start tonight then we can rest assured Ralf doesn't fancy him either and we should probably move him on. Seems like the ideal game to stick him in the middle of the park with one of McFred. I'd be tempted to bench Rashford and put Bruno up front with Ronaldo.

    Something like

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Maguire Shaw
    DVB Fred
    Sancho Lingard
    Ronaldo Bruno

    I think Bruno is suspended.

    0-1 burnley

barely scored against a team that has conceded the most goals in the league, burnley have allowed half of what they have.
