Jones still shit, can't finish to save our life. Martial needs to do better, has wasted two good chances and has been fairly passive. Think Greenwood for Periera or Mata should be the choice.
At the beginning of last season, I said the club was dying. I got about 20 replies full of abuse and then the mods shut down the thread. And yes, I am one of those who says: told you so...The issue is paramount. In the last third there's 3-4 players all stood in half-spaces, but directly behind an opposition player as to make a pass to them impossible. It's the very definition of hiding from the ball. There's never any diagonal or early runs into the box for a midfielder to play a lofted ball over the defender. Never. No one does it. I feel sorry for our midfielders because, in reality, you can't play creative passes when players aren't making creative runs.Man, we totaly fecked up with Maguire. With that money we could have bought Eriksen and Fernandes for example. But nooo, lets buy him. Because our coach sees him as a leader. Brilliant

They've had Burnley completely under the cosh. 70% possession, 3 clear shots on target and three or four mis-kicks from crosses that should have been buried. It's been one way. They've had one shot on target and get a goal. So no not snails pace at all. Bad finishing and one moment of dodgy defending.We're effing impotent.

There is no lack of movement, it's as if people aren't watching the game. We have failed technically, with our touches, shots and the weight of our passes but our attackers are moving around and making themselves available.
Pereira isn’t good enough, James is overplayed and shouldn’t have such a burden on him right now, Mata is looking for a link up with a centre forward playing deeper than he is.... yep, problems! I’m most annoyed that Martial is once again easily dispirited and has gone into hiding.
