Watching replay of that goal. Maguire did everything wrong there. Kept him onside but didn't mark him close enough.
He's an utter waste of money. And some idiot decided he should captain United. Feck sakes.

Encouraged, rather than excited, by the fact that we created a tonne of good chances in the first half, only to be let down by our finishing once again. We don't deserve to be losing, you must admit that.

But he is not at fault for the way the current game is going. We only needed to convert one of those chances and we would have routed them.

So he isn't responsible for identifying and then fixing our defensive issues? You can't think that

The speed that we move the ball from defence to an attacking position is so fecking slow.

I know modern football is possession based (mehhh) but a quick pass could have Burnley turning to face their goal. Might lose the ball a few times but might create a chance/goal too.

    Too cautious.

And from the first minute of the second half, watch Burnley waste time. I'm going to end up throwing something at the TV I know I am.

Why are we so poor at urgency and intensity? What goes through these guys heads? What are they being ‘coached’ to do?

If I was earning £100,000 a week, you’d bet your arse that I’d run until my legs fell off and put maximum effort in. Terrible attitude from these wanks.

It helps when people chat shite about not creating chances.
It also helps when they actually finish them but they won't because they're shite.I even watched Martial with a big grin on his face after the miss. That's Man United is it?Bloody rubbish.

Im not a big fan of Ole but yeah.. you cant blame him for Martial and Mata missing their chances. Usually they score those and nobody would be blaming Ole right now.

You could blame him if he doesnt bring on someone who is capable of turning chances into goals though

    I agree with you there.

Without relevance to the goal. Was gonna post just before. Decided to wait until half-time.
I’ve had a very unofficial count of successful 1-touch passes. Result 1st half count: 46

    Less than one pr minute.

i’ve purposely not countedoutcones of 50/50 duels. Still i might have missed s few. Still. We’re taking too many touches, giving opponents time to reposition and defend. This is a thing i had expected would change with Solskjær. Even though it hasn’t put me in the Ole out camp yet.
Disappointments of the half: Maguire, Martial, Pereira.

    Speed up ffs

When Matic and Wan Bissaka look the most likely to create a chance you know things are grim. It’s unacceptable.

Probably the worst we have been in 6 years. Worse than Moyes, a decimated squad when in reality only 3 players are out. We went into the season with no real quality and no depth. That is on Ole 100%, he has taken ownership of "waiting for the right player". I mean buying a playing is not a 2 year process, build you team Ole! Had enough of Woodward only getting blamed, all the time. Yes he is a parasite to the club but i seriously fail to see any game plan set out by Ole. 4 clean sheets in 35 games, we had also spent 130m on defenders. Simple defending can be coached and our players look lost. Dont even get me started on attack or midfield, it is amateur. I think we are in a far better position than we deserve, we are easily a mid table team with no ball, no brains, no direction and no desire. We need players and a manager who is not playing some reality football manager game. Those who believe in Ole are deluded, it is incredibly poor what we have witnessed in the last 12 months, pathetic. Greenwood had to start, the only natural number 9, stick Martial on the left and James on the right. Take Mata off, it is too slow, way to slow.

This United side may have less spirit and bravery than Moyes'. Shocking really. Chances served up and attached with zero confidence. Poor mentality.

We are playing Burnley, but we've played worse this season and created feck all. Fact is, we should be winning quite comfortably and we're not.

I think the Watford loss was the worst.
Watford played really badly and they dominated us.

United are such a big club that it will take the Glazers at least another 15 years to finish their milking job, by that time we will not be in the Premier League anymore.

Sadly I think this is where we're going as well. Im genuinely at the point where I believe it doesn't matter who our manager is, were rotten through and through off the pitch, and until the rot has been removed we're going nowhere but down.

We need to go 442 and just turn this into an open end to end match, hope Greenwood can take a chance.

I don’t see what is random here, he has very few options

Pereira instead of Greenwood why? No actual reason.

He should learn who can get him the goals, and who is too wasteful to play in this kind of game. But no, he'll never learn, and he'll ultimately have to go unfortunately.

If our finishing wasn't awful we'd be cruising. Their goal was completely out of nowhere.

Pinning this on Ole is actually staggering from some of you lot. With what he has at his disposal, the actual quality of our play is close to as good as it can be.

    If I had 3 more inches...I’d have 5 inches

    if if if

There was a push on Matic.
If we were LiVARpool it would have beeen checked and disallowed by Var

I’d rather hand the captaincy to Fred the red at this point. Absolute waste of 80m. He’s slow af, shit at defending headers and can’t score a goal to save his life. We might have fared better with jones and Rojo. feck everyone involved currently in this club.

Our build up is so slow, we’ve become such a terrible team to watch especially if we have not got the space for counter attacking football

I thought we were playing quite well for most of that half. No killer instinct with the chances we made.

Maguire is the world’s costliest defender.

When Matic and Wan Bissaka look the most likely to create a chance you know things are grim. It’s unacceptable.

Wan Bissaka is improving as an attacker all the time, this idea that he can’t attack and will never be able to attack is wrong and needs to stop. He’s put it on a plate twice and players have missed the chances.

Can someone tell me what Fred really does apart from running round like a blue arsed fly. His contribution I mean, and I'm not just referring to this game. You can't play him against a physical team like Burnley. Like a fecking school boy out there.

I hear what you are saying, but it's important that we save some money.
And besides, we are building a team for the future, not today.

In any case, Burnley are so bad, I genuinely feel that we can win this.

    Is that you Ed?

Apparently the reason our match going fans don't boo is because their job is to cheer on the team for 90mins. Well, I can't hear booing. I CAN hear cheering......from the Burnley fans.

What in the blue FECK do our fans do inside that ground???!!!!!

You are Woodward and The Glazers wet dream.

Haha you pathetic tit. Make your judgement sat in Wales, how lucky we are to have you.

Im not a big fan of Ole but yeah.. you cant blame him for Martial and Mata missing their chances. Usually they score those and nobody would be blaming Ole right now.

You could blame him if he doesnt bring on someone who is capable of turning chances into goals though

But you can blame him for keeping our most natural finisher on the bench. Martial has had a bad half but his style fits with a pure goalscorer like Greenwood or Rashford, changing his role is stupid, it doesn't help us or the player.
