Really looking forward to this... Hope we dont get complacent.. that's my biggest worry.. at home, we should be good enough to win this easily..

Since they returned we have beaten them all three times away but failed to win at OT. We owe them a proper spanking.

There's snow forecast for Manchester today, for anyone travelling in to the game. Dont think it'll be heavy at the ground itself but the motorways always get mashed up at the first sign of a few flakes so beware if you're driving.

Manchester has snow warnings but they never normally amount to much, the problem will be like you say travelling to the ground could become a problem.
The Midlands is expecting a big dump of snow, going home could be worse.

Beat Burnley in a sluggish affair and drop our first points on Sunday - has to happen at some point :(

They're going to come and defend for their lives after getting another 5-0 thumping off City. The last thing Dyche will want is another hiding, so while no team is ever happy with a defeat, I think he'd take a 2-0 loss here and move on if it was offered. They've got far more winnable games against Southampton, Brighton, and Newcastle coming up. I would think he'd just rather have his full team fresh and ready to hopefully do the business in those games. This is obviously a free swing so they may have a go, but I don't think it's worth the risk of worsening their goal difference -4 or worse.

There will be quite a few changes from the Arsenal game, but I think about half of them, at least on current form, will improve the side we put out tonight. I'm expecting something along these lines:

    de Gea
    Dalot Lindelof Jones Shaw
    Matic
    Fred Pogba
    Mata Rashford Martial
    ---
Romero; Bailly, Young; Pereira, Lingard; Sanchez, Lukaku

I wouldn't be opposed to Smalling making a return to the squad tonight (even if on the bench), but that would only be to allow him to regain some sharpness before the big games next month. Other than that, I think only Ander Herrera might be left out completely to keep him fresh for the upcoming away games and big games around the corner. Changes from the Arsenal include putting de Gea back in which is an improvement. I think Dalot in this kind of game is great over Young, he'll get forward and we shouldn't need to do as much defending today. Jones back in for Bailly is on current form an improvement. Fred over Herrera should provide a bit more creativity and he needs to play, but Herrera is clearly better at the moment. The same goes for Mata, in tight spaces where we will keep a lot of the ball, he could be useful and set-pieces might be important in opening up Burnley initially.

Sanchez and Lukaku are usually going to get on the field, while I'd like to see Matic replaced by Pereira (or Smalling) in the second half if we have the required cushion. While I've said I expect Burnley to be extra defensive, I fancy us to break them down and put them to the sword in the end. 4-0.

Looking forward to every game, expecting a win. Just like the good old day.

    3-0 United.

It's so nice to wake up looking forward to a match and wanting us to win isn't it?

I haven't been buzzing about United like this for a long time. Hope our home performance is better than the last, we need to stick them by 3-4!

I've just checked Sky to find nothing and BT are showing Newcastle vs City (who's bothered) - am I right in thinking this isn't on tv tonight ? :(

    That is correct

    ----------De Gea----------
    Dalot Bailly Lindelöf Shaw
    ----------Matic------------
    -------Fred-----Pogba----
    Sanchez Rashford Martial

Something along those lines would be good to see tonight. Lukaku, Mata and some youngster to come on substitutions.

Just please win United. Famous last words but I'm really confident that if we win tonight we'll win our next 2 league games as well

I can definitely see us dropping points away to Leicester after this run, looks like a classic banana skin game. This should be a relatively easy win I would think. Would be shocked if we drop points in this one.

They should play Undertaker's theme tune over the PA from now on, instead of that Stone Roses song.

Hopefully we won't but since they're playing pool tomorrow, IMO they will roll over for them and then raise their game vs us.

My biggest worry these days is complacency, let’s hope we get these beat early on.

I think Puel will get fired after tomorrow's game, so they'll be manager-less against us.

    De Gea

    Young - Lindelof - Bailly - Shaw

    Herrera - Matic - Pogba

    Sanchez - Rashford - Martial
I think Ole would prefer to get Bailly in the starting line up over Jones so can see the partnership from the Arsenal game continuing. Sanchez did ok so he'll jeep his place while Rashford and Martial return

Buzzing for every game at the moment.

Big wins over Burnley & Fulham in next 3 games needs to close that GD gap between ourselves & Chelsea

I have never enjoyed a spell of games in years as I am doing so currently. A United legend managing us so well, a run of wins, competing for Top 4 and a cup, big CL games looming, no international break to keep us waiting and midweek fixtures. Literally walking in a football wonderland.

Excited for Burnley. I think our winning run can continue, we should be able to beat them provided we break their parked bus.

Some of the comments on here are a little dismissive of Burnley... let's just see whether we can get three points.

Three points, decent performance, clean sheet would be fab, good use of substitutes/squad, and no injuries would be great. 1-0 is absolutely cool with me.

Not sure if anyone is feeling as I am, The 8 game winning start under Ole is actually making me feel more nervous about the Burnley, Leicester & Fulham Games because, although all 3 on their day can pose problems & produce a great performance. It’ll seem like a real shame if the winning run ended to one of those

For those who can't watch the game on tv, just google Reddit Soccer Streams. There are loads of streams with perfect HD quality for every game. They're hosted by 3rd party sites but Reddit never removes the links.

I get what you mean. the run must end sometime right? Any of those teams could be a banana peal if we are at less than 100%
