What has Rashford been though?I think Martial is probably ill or injured but lets not pretend he was good against Leicester.Rashford's off the ball movement fits Zlatan's game more. Defensive workrate also balances Zlatan's lazy workrate. Just hope we don't see Lukaku shifted out wide or anything

To be honest I don't see how anyone can debate that at this point, we rely on moments of brilliance from individuals, we don't have an attacking unit pattern in the way most other big sides do, and the two players (Martial and Lingard) that tend to find a way to link with others are not starting.Martial rightfully told to stay at home on watch the game on TV after his last few performances.
Hopefully will give him a kick up the arse to stop putting in these half-arsed performances when he does get back in the side, not holding my breath though!Interesting lineup but I'm excited.

That’s nonsense though. Jose hardly rest his attackers by taking off the squad completely. They’ll always be on the bench at least. If Martial is not seriously injured and is out of the squad, it’s definitely not because he’s being rested. That’s just some invented tripe to justify Jose’s action.
He has done it before with Martial last season but people here have very short memories. Mikhitaryan too has suffered this too, though deservedly most of the times. Those players are just more prone to being used as scapegoats when things go wrong or are more likely to be punished.
There are some players who can do no wrong though, and can never get left of the squad unless they’re seriously injured.
Rashford probably is the one who needs rest given he has played more minutes, and has been in disgusting form the last few games but that’s never gonna happen. In fact this season Rashford is the one player who has somehow managed to get an appearance in all our games.

That's one of the strange things about the team under him, individually I think the defenders have been good, but his insistence in trying to play Pogba and a #10 is always going to leave huge spaces to put our back 4 under threat, we can't strangle teams with control.Zlatan starts, interesting. On paper, Lukaku should be getting shtloads of chances today but who knows.

The guy stepping in for Tarkowski - is a 27 year old irish player with about 30 League matches in 7 years for Burnley. The guy stepping in for Wood has 16 goals in 110 League matches...or 1 goal in 7.
