We have been 3 seconds too late on everything the last 8 weeks. There is no passing in to space and everything takes 2-3 more touches than any professional footballer needs. Absolutely shocking performances from this squad in recent months but we are getting points.
These players need a educating on what is expected of them at this club. Not the class of 92 who are too far up their own holes but players like Rio, Evra, Keane and Ole.

I’m usually not on during United games because going on a forum while your team is playing is pretty trash.

However, that was a pathetic half. Something is missing from our end and I think its a killer instinct. In all aspects of the pitch.

We've definitely played worse this season, but conceding two goals to the only chances they've had was the killer. Free kick was unstoppable, but the defending for the opener was shambolic.

Really missing Martial being able to run at defenders. Rashford seems to be trying, but is nowhere near as effective without space behind.

Pulling one back before the break was key. Can't see us scoring 3 in 45 minutes with them most likely slowing the game down more and more as the half goes on. Early goal after the break is key. The longer it goes on, the slower the game gets.

Pogba did create our best chance. He was the one who did that great long pass to Rashford which allowed Rashford to get a shot off which only didn't go in due to a line clearance block.
He also had a shot at goal from a good position and should have been at least on target. It's what I expect from our talisman player.

We are in terrible form aren't we. Low confidence and poor play all around. Lingard need to come on straight away cause he is one of our best players at the moment.

Now that's something I'd thought I'd never read on a cafe matchday thread.

The difference in our team in the final 3rd and the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal is frightening. You just cant see where a goal is going to come from. Having watched Spurs earlier today, i dont think any one of our forward players would get in their team.

    We look terrible.

 this happens regularly at old Trafford
Literally never happens other than the odd person and was same again today. Was the loudest I have heard UNITED UNITED UNITED as players walked off for a while. I was hurling abuse though.

There's a pass to jones at about 40 minutes that if we need a gif to sum up the problem, this is it. At that point we're trailing at home to Burnley and he is so so flat footed he just blatantly isn't of the mind to be quick, front footed, confident and aggressive. It's been very lacklustre since kick off

Utter disbelief. Never thought we'd be 0-2 down and comfortably outplayed and outfought by Burnley.

That's now Bristol City, Leicester City, Burnley who have/are kicking our arses and showing 10 x the heart and commitment than our bunch of non-entities. Inexcusable.

We are not scoring 3 in 45mins against this Burnley side.
West Brom was a shitshow too, City comfortable controlled the game at OT. Even our "masterclass" against Arsenal was basically De Gea saving our ass. We barely beat CSKA at home, lost to Basel. Newcastle was the only convincing win lately, everything else was pretty poor. Once the results are gone there is nothing to defend and Jose is in trouble.

Set pieces are a massive problem for us both offensively and defensively.

Our forwards movement is awful, we have no link up or chemistry in any of our team.

crosses into the box are awful, never find their target or put into a dangerous position.

Saying that we’ve been a bit unlucky and could have had 2 goals ourself. It’s turning out to be 1 of those games, a period that will really define us as a team. Do we have bottle or does it need dismantling again?

We all know that this team lacks bottle. We are fecked in this fixture and need to escape without being further embarrassed. It’s the same as when we were down against Huddersfield - clear as day there will be no comeback.

Fcuktards absolutely had it with this spineless shower of shit!! The united team of my youth Robson, whiteside,McGrath,
Moran,Olsen,Strachen would Effin destroy this current united team 10 games out of 10.
Hard to think of ONE, and I challenge anyone to this think of ONE. Of this current lot who through there football on the pitch alone, show the MAN United never say die, swashbuckling spirit ??? Sad isn’t it there isn’t ONE!!!

We honestly need proper full backs. Have Young and Valencia play there is not the solution. If Mou doesnt trust Shaw, then get him out and bring in two proper full backs this summer. This is just ridiculous.

Literally never happens other than the odd person and was same again today. Was the loudest I have heard UNITED UNITED UNITED as players walked off for a while. I was hurling abuse though.

You must have slept through the last 4 years
Of course the united chants are louder by the way, but always the same number of idiots

There better be some reaction and a spine tingling half time team talk from Jose. We have it in us to turn this around. Have a little faith.

So you not only want Jose to learn from managers who have never won a pot in this league and their teams are below us, but you can also predict the future?

I would go and get some fresh air if I was you.

Yup I am predicting that we will not end up top scorers by the end if this keeps going. We need some attacking coaching, BADLY. How the hell are we still brainlessly crossing the ball with the squad we have, against FECKING BURNLEY? This is on Jose.

I very much admire Marcus Rashford's footballing ability but if there was a testing process for footballing intelligence, I'm pretty sure he'd show up as legally retarded. He genuinely is the Forest Gump of footballers.

100% agreed with you. He think and feels that he is the star, play for England, had some idiotic pundit to ask him to be more selfish. Alex Ferguson will sent him to clean boots if he carrys on like that. Right now, Martial is very much better than him.

Those optimistic about second half probably didn't learn from the Huddersfield shite show.

Oh God, I am traveling and just checked the score. Are we as bad as the score line suggests?

No. We have been ok. The difference is our awful setpeice defending in 2nd min gave them a goal to hang on to. Once that happens anything can happen.

Is it too simple to say this wouldn't be happening if we hadn't conceded that last minute goal?

    There's definitely merit in that.

This week will have knocked the stuffing out of the players (no pun intended). That coupled with City's runaway leak will drain the players of any kind of confidence and motivation.

It'd be quite easy for things to unravel.

Absolute bobbins. We couldn't do much about the free kick but we should not be conceding from set pieces so often with the height in this side.

To line up a team of giants is not the tendency in the modern football.
Some agile/skilfull midfielders able to carry the ball fast between the lines would help.

Our players are always on their heels. This is not a team. They do not know or expect what their team mates are going to do. It is a bunch of individuals. I am shocked that a Jose team is so disorganized. Normally even if they do not win, his teams are very well organized. This is utterly ridiculous. We also try to be over complicated in the final third.

Lukaku was at fault for the first one not jumping and clearing the ball. Our entire wall just stood still for the 2nd goal not jumping.

I think our biggest weakness is our defense. No other ways about it. We need to replace the entire backline.

To be fair, we had the second best defence in the league last season, and I think we're in the top 3-4 defences so far this season. To say our defence is our biggest weakness and we need to replace the entire backline is pure hyperbole.

As a team we have issues, and occasionally we have defensive lapses, but we are not a bad team defensively.
