Excellent penalty by Bruno
We prefer the term siege mentality, I believeVictim mentality innit ?
Maybe I'm mistaken but I think in clear cut chances if there's a penalty awarded there's no red given by rule, sort of no double punishment rule. If it's outside the box then it's a red. That yellow is a joke. Pulls him down by his head in the box, that's a clear red card
That's not quite correctMaybe I'm mistaken but I think in clear cut chances if there's a penalty awarded there's no red given by rule, sort of no double punishment rule. If it's outside the box then it's a red.
Good try Mr. Anka! Your opinion is still not correct though. You can almost see the panic in Ugarte, when he has the ball.
If there is no intention to play the ball and it's the denial of a goal scoring opportunity, it should be a red.I don’t think they give reds for pens anymore do they unless its excessive force?
https://www.thefa.com/football-rule.../football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconductAnd? This isn't the criteria for a red card.
I believe it does if they've made no attempt to play the ballBecause DOGSO does not mean red card if a penalty is given.
Exactly my thought. The refs are out for us the cretinous bunch. Why wasnt that a red

Correct, it's a clear mistakeI believe it does if they've made no attempt to play the ball
He delayed it as much as he could it’s like he needed someone in his ear piece to tell him it’s a penfecking hell thought he wasn't going to give it.
That’s only if it is outside the boxIt does, if no attempt to play the ball is made
Yes, there’s no reason to go for someone’s neck. It’s a clear red if it was anywhere else in the pitch, ref didn’t want to punish them twice which was the only reason he didn’t get the red.You think anyone would have considered that a red card offense if it happend anywhere else on the pitch? I think yellow is fair here
Oh god, looks like we are turning into prime Arsenal fanbase with the ‘ref’s against us’ every game.
NopeThat’s only if it is outside the box

Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball or a challenge for the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.), the offending player must be sent off.

That has to be denying of a goal scoring opportunity and it's hard to claim that was a genuine attempt to play the ball.
That's pretty clear then and an obvious mistake from ref & VAR.https://www.thefa.com/football-rule.../football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct

They’ve been objectively shit recently though. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, but they’re definitely awful.Oh god, looks like we are turning into prime Arsenal fanbase with the ‘ref’s against us’ every game.
