Worst scout to ever exist
Surprised no Gilmour and Ferguson for them, good for us
Right so Mitoma is the new Mbappe and Dalot is Djimi Traore ?fecking hell Dalot vs Mitoma, brain dead team selection.
Same and it goes back a long time with previous managers. And I'm sure more often than not it doesn't work out and we have troubles in that area.Really starting to annoy me how he'd rather play a senior player out of position than a youth player in his actual position.

Have you ever considered that Pellistri might not be the second coming of Messi, only hamstrung by the three managers who have seen him in training not bothering to give him a shot on the right wing?Really starting to annoy me how he'd rather play a senior player out of position than a youth player in his actual position.
Yup it wasn't. I underestimated ETH.Probably wasn’t true and isn’t true.
It is isn't it, we have tons of master tacticians on here. This thread is a Trainwreck
Should've been sold this summer. He's not good enough for this level.Pellistri should be sold in January.
Because he sees these players every day in training ?Really starting to annoy me how he'd rather play a senior player out of position than a youth player in his actual position.
More like clownsIt is isn't it, we have tons of master tacticians on here.
I think starting Pellestri would've sent a better message to he who cannot be named.
There are easier games than Bayern or Brighton ffs. He's a young player, he'll be eased into a bigger role if he's good enough for it. You don't just sell him because you don't start him against a good team. He was never going to start here.I see where you are coming from but he is 21 already, starts for his national team regularly and is currently the only fit natural right winger we have in the squad. He sure as hell is never going to start against Bayern anyways in mid week. Might as well just sell him. We can atleast recoup some of the money while he still starts for his national team.
Makes sense on the ball to give us more width with Dalot going forward I guess. Though hope he's on it defensively to shut down mitomaNo AWB is the only surprise here.
With Garnacho he comes on with something to prove. When he starts he seems to play like he has nothing to prove. At the moment he is far more of a menace coming off the bench.Garnacho has done nothing to prove his ability to start so I think Fernandes starting on the wing is correct albeit frustrating. Plus we might need the midfield box of 4 against their midfield as they are so well organised on the ball.
What are you basing that on? Whenever he’s played he’s looked dangerous and he starts for his country.Should've been sold this summer. He's not good enough for this level.
Instead we're giving him a new long-term contract, because reasons.
Lindelof does produce the occasional masterclass. I’m trying to stay optimistic. Martinez has been dreadful this season but perhaps this is his turning pointThat defence looks so weak.
thats is a hyperbole beyond proportion, the thing is playing your best player out of his best position creates more problems than solving one. Also why stick with a tested failed method, why dont try to gamble? You'll never know what you get until you try it, no?Have you ever considered that Pellistri might not be the second coming of Messi, if only any of the three managers who have seen him in training had bothered to give him a shot on the right wing?
Might as well stick you at right wing then because it'd be a nice little gamble.thats is a hyperbole beyond proportion, the thing is playing your best player out of his best position creates more problems than solving one. Also why stick with a tested failed method, why dont try to gamble? You'll never know what you get until you try it, no?
You don't give a chance to young players against a top team. You give them chances to ease in in the easier games, and if he impresses in those then he'll play more in bigger games. It's pretty simple. Brighton and Bayern are obviously not games where he'll start or even get subbed on in. Burnley, the 2 palace games... look for those. But how can he get used to tough games if he doesn't play in them? We'll never see how good he is and how he develops if Pellistri is not given chances.
He hasn't though, for us or Uruguay. He runs around a lot, with little to no actual output. What are you basing that on? Whenever he’s played he’s looked dangerous and he starts for his country.
