I'd have started him today but he's played against Sheff Utd, Burnley, Luton, etc - all games where you'd expect him to 'grab a goal' and didn't.

In an ideal world we'd have got rid of Martial at his last contract renewal, but ok with him starting ahead of Hojland today. Last thing we need is him getting injured or burning himself out.

We will see. The energy last game mainly came from the height of Garnacho - Bruno - McT - Antony. No reason that can’t happen again with or without Hojlund.

Need movement from Martial today. Constant movement. And I mean centrally. No good him straying out left to try and be Henry. Play on the shoulder, move into pockets. Turn his defenders and be a Constant threat. Anything less is unforgivable.

Obviously it's fitness issue with Hojlund. Against Chelsea he looked dead at 50th minute mark. Surely he can't pull off 2 games in a row with 3 days in between.

Exactly, he played almost full game just several days ago, we can't play him into the ground, especially with potential back problems. But people would have to think a bit before screaming at the line up every time.
