It's a running theme with some that's he's a lucky manager. I'd agree with your view, only lucky bit was how he got the job.

You might change that view if Pereira, Lingard, Jones are the chosen replacements for any injuries in the team.
And every game until the end of the season is a must win too but playing the same XI each week just won't happen. After Villa we play 3 games in 6 days, we'll need to play him to keep the players fresh.

Lucky manager? Bring it on. Give me a lucky manager any day, but to be fair, Ole has done well, and he's learned a lot over the past 18 months or so, had many ups and downs, but I feel he is getting to grips with the job, and he sounds a lot more confident in his press statements. If he's also gonna be a lucky manager, then great.

No but I'm one of those guys that watched United earlier in season with injuries to key players dropping points numerous times to average to poor teams mainly because of any decent replacements to come in and step up.hopefully we can get up 3-0 before half and take Bruno, Maguire and some others off. No need to risk injuries or fatigue to any of the key pieces during the run in.

Not many teams can survive their two best players having a lengthy layoff simultaneously.
We won't risk the game just so James could improve and become a better player. If he needs games for his improvement, then there's the transfer market.
