It's a running theme with some that's he's a lucky manager. I'd agree with your view, only lucky bit was how he got the job.How is he a lucky manager? I mean he was lucky to get the job in the first place, but he’s had a lot of bad luck since he started. Not least with losing his best player (Pogba) for the season, before lockdown.

For every Fred there's a Schneiderlin, Memphis or Lukaku. The Caf with its obsession of selling newly arrived players. You don't even know how he'd look like in 2 years time. Same things were being said about Fred after his first year struggling yet he's managed to integrate himself well in the squad. You'd think people would start learning at some point but same old.
We need to win every game. Tomorrow is must win. I’m sorry if you like Dan James but we cannot afford to be carrying passengers at this stage of the season. James offers nothing against a low block, he’s shown that several times this season. How's he supposed to learn and adapt to playing against the low block, if he doesn't play against teams playing that system?
Even if this news proves to be pure tabloid BS it still makes one realise that United are only a injury or two away from things falling apart once more. It's a must strength in depth is added to the squad for next season
You might change that view if Pereira, Lingard, Jones are the chosen replacements for any injuries in the team. Not buying that, the team is flying playing with confidence, it'll take more one or two injuries to alter that even if they were the best players, four or five might, but that would be the same for every team, even the very best.
And every game until the end of the season is a must win too but playing the same XI each week just won't happen. After Villa we play 3 games in 6 days, we'll need to play him to keep the players fresh. We need to win every game. Tomorrow is must win. You couldn’t make this up
Must be!That's fake isn’t it?

No but I'm one of those guys that watched United earlier in season with injuries to key players dropping points numerous times to average to poor teams mainly because of any decent replacements to come in and step up.You're not one of those that expect any replacement to be the same quality as the guys they are replacing are you?

We won't risk the game just so James could improve and become a better player. If he needs games for his improvement, then there's the transfer market. And every game until the end of the season is a must win too but playing the same XI each week just won't happen. After Villa we play 3 games in 6 days, we'll need to play him to keep the players fresh.
If he doesn't play, how's he going to improve and become a better player going forward?
Memphis would fit brilliantly in this team. For every Fred there's a Schneiderlin, Memphis or Lukaku.
And add Mengi. We need to somehow delete Gomes from Lineup prediction options...
Demetri Mitchell too.We need to somehow delete Gomes from Lineup prediction options...
Maguire was money well spent, the guy was born to Captain Manchester United, and you can go game after game without really noticing Lindelof which surely is a good thing.
No, he didn’t. But he mentioned that he might play “one or two” of those who performed very well pre-lockdown - so it can’t be Daniel James. So logically, it’s Fred and Williams.
That's understandable but I'd be upset if Fred is below Mctominay in the pecking orderI actually feel bad for Fred. He had done nothing that would warrant being benched, we just have players that are even better than he is in his position.
