That was a good move. Good goalkeeping

    13 min

Bournemouth send the corner to the edge of the box looking for a shot but Matic intercepts and sends Lingard away on the counter-attack. Within seconds we're up the other end crossing into the box and Begovic has to make a good punch to deny Pogba. Great break there from us.
Rashford looks in the mood. Brimming with confidence.

    14 min

Rashford and Lingard combine well on the corner of the box and Rashford nearly gets in on goal but Bournemouth scramble it away.
Mourinho really did feck us

It's a confidence issue. Managers like Ole won't scold Rashford too much even if he loses the ball in doing that and it led to Bournemouth scoring on a counter. But Mourinho would be livid, so Rashford won't even try such stuff under him in fear that it may fail.

    Ah OT crowd happy:)

    Mourinho must hate this

Absolutely, and we will come unstuck one day, but rather have it like this, always trying to win, rather than trying to make sure we dont lose.

Its going to be interesting to see what Ole does when things dont go to plan, but enjoying this a lot

United are trying to be a little too delicate when they reach the box. Switch the play up or shoot!

The first thing I look for in every line-up is who got chosen between Young and Dalot. I want to see Dalot become a constant starter, Dalot can learn from playing in every game and it isn't like Young doesn't make fairly regular mistakes anyway, he never really grasped the art of positioning as a full back imo.

In any case, I like the line-up. Very happy with Bailly and Lindelof starting together at the back, I think it's our best pairing and I think they can compliment each other wonderfully, although maybe with a weakness in the air.

Very confident going into this, these lot will be easier to break down than Huddersfield and might offer a bit more going forward, but I think we'll be fine.

    4-1.
I think Young should start every game, if we want to win games. Dalot can be eased in the cups.

These guys look so much happier to play. There's an energy that was never there with Jose.

They're allowed to play freely and it shows quite evidently with the movement, runs and quicker passing. Much more pleasing on the eye.

    Jose really was toxic.

What Jose did to these players is fecking criminal.

Look at them play, when they are allowed to.

Agreed mate! It’s mental to see the turnaround when the shackles are off.

Granted it’s not been the hardest of opposition but we’ve failed to break anyone down under Jose lately. The difference is chalk and cheese.

    16 min

Matic dinks a ball into the box which Pogba cushions down with a header to set up Rashford for a volley at goal and it deflects wide for a corner.
Ole's made this Matic-Pogba axis work in the manner Jose wanted it to but failed in accomplishing it. Basically Matic was bought to let Pogba loose.

This football can’t be just a honeymoon period, everything seems like it’s coming directly from the training pitch.

I think it's a combination. I'm watching Herrera and Shaw moving in and out of FB positions when we're with/without the ball which looks new and Matic-Pogba is working differently (properly?), but honestly Rashford taking on men and beating them isn't tactical genius, it's a manager giving a player licence to use his god-given skills for the team.

    16 min

Young takes the corner but Bournemouth clear at the near post.
Rarely seen Pogba play so high up the pitch. Almost a 9.

The movement, the intent to score.

We’ve not had this for 6 (SIX) years.

Seriously can’t believe how Jose made everyone think our players can’t play. Awful manipulation.
