I can understand wanting to see Dalot start in the hopes that he gets better, but what if he isn't good enough? Should he be treated any different to any of the academy players, just because he's a new signing? What if we gave one of the academy right backs a chance instead? Compare Dalot to McTominay. He is from the academy, I don't think he's good enough. Should he play more games in midfield and be given the chance to get better? I think a player needs to take their chance when they get it and if they don't they should wait for their next chance. Dalot hasn't looked good defensively in any game I've seen him play. That's a big worry because he's a RB not a forward. Why not give him a few games at RB playing for under 23s and see how he does?Very confident. We dominated these under Mourinho at their place.
