    Like the look of this team. I would have rested Matic and given Blind a game in midfield.
     
    Delighted for McTominay. Herrera getting dropped for a 20yr old rookie should be a wakeup call.
     
    Really looking forward to this. I thought it was televised? “ UK “ gutted its not.

    Herrera has been an utter disappointment this season, along with Mkhitaryan. I’d be happy to blare the back of both of them unless they really step up their game soon. There should be no complaints to see both of them out of the picture.
     
    Would like to see Tuanzebe get a chance. Mind, Bournemouth will not be easy I don't think.
    Just need to win, regardless of how we play tonight.
     
    Great to see Shaw starting, Maybe Mourinho hasn't lost it with him just yet. Hope he takes his chances well

    Yes and no.

    If he doesn't start at the weekend yes, but 3 games over 8 days gives an alibi for a "resting" rather than a dropping.
    He has got it all to do to stay here though beyond this season surely
     
    Didn't expect McTominay in the lineup like many others but I'm happy about him taking herreras spot. I haven't seen anything from herrera this season that McTominay can't do just as well. So we might as well develop McTominay I think he could be a great backup to matic next season
     
    Shaw and Mctominay are huge surprises tbh. Good looking team though, hopefully Shaw takes the chance and stays fit. Nice to see Jones back too. Lukaku was never going to get dropped and I guess he's here to stay... hope he can prove me wrong I guess. Great to see martial and Mata though, Martial is definitely looking like he's cementing himself as a key player for Mou (as he should be) and Mata I feel should play a lot more - especially in big games where Mou doesn't trust him but he's one of the few composed players we have so should play in them.
     
    FFS I have to wait until 23.20 to watch the game.. Only showing the West Ham - Arsenal live in Sweden. gah!

    We'll win 2-0 though.
     
    I’m really shocked Miki is still in Joses exile! He’s been utter rubbish but all these fully excludes from match day squad is strange!

    Maybe a loan or more likely transfer this January.
     
    Jose has benched Herrea, not because of poor form but he has 4 yellow cards and is at risk of getting a 1 match ban when all the rest of our CMs are injured/banned.
     
    9/11 - didn't see Shaw and Mctominay coming!
     
    Lukaku should be dropped really but a more favourable fixture list now presents a good opportunity to build up his confidence again. I want to see him scoring goals again, but also being involved in the build up.

    Good line up overall and happy to see Mctominay being trusted.
     
    Happy to see Shaw and Mctominay starting. Interested to see how they perform and Shaw especially needs to take these opportunities if he wants to be the first choice LB.

    I find it really strange to be honest. I know he wasn't doing well but something must have happened for him to be completely out.
     
    I"m surprised that Mctominays been picked ahead of Herrera,but hopefully he"ll have a good game.Good to see Jones back and it's a great opportunity for Luke Shaw to really lay down a marker....
     
    Would have been nice with a ball playing centre back at home against Bournemouth at home. Bit surprised Lindelof is excluded due to recent performances. Would have been interesting to see him next to Jones.

    Yeah, im assuming Mkhi said go feck yourself Jose. Im out of your bs. Dont see other reason why he wouldnt be at least on the bench. He is most likely out.
     
    Its more of Jose going with height than dropping Ander.
    Pogba and Fellaini are injured. McTominay is 4-5 inches taller than Herrera.

    Height isnt the only thing.. the player has to be competent as well.. but I think that has played a big part in the selection.

    Nice to see youth players starting..
     
    Surprising line up. Nice to see others get an opportunity when we were so poor at the weekend. THought Lukaku should have been benched
