The ref has made some terrible calls regarding fouls near the Atletico penalty area. My concerns over Dalot remain as he just isn't a good enough defender. No we haven't. There have been nice skills displayed by the players on the pitch, some good first time passes. But the quality in and around the penalty area is so dire it kind of craps on any such decent build up play. Dalot is hitting hopeful long balls, Telles cannot clear the first man when he's attempting to cross, Sancho is getting tangled with defenders trying to go through them and Elanga is have an off day so far in terms of his passing and ability to go past players.
This is the kind of performance we have seen from Man Utd sides a few times in past few seasons where we look good during the build up, don't do anything with all that work, concede and then slip back into usual habit of rushing everything and losing out.
