Wwe have actually played ok. But there is no confidence in that front line, it's gone. And then two very sloppy pieces of defending set pieces and bang we are two down against a confident villa side.

There is hope because we look like we can make chances, but there isn't slot if confidence of anyone actually taking one of those signings.

ETH's striker signings are going to be the death of him I think. Going for physical over technical in PL where all the CB'S are physical monsters anyway wasn't very clever

Look at the foul our captain committed for the first goal, knowing confidence is hanging by thread, knowing how much we struggle scoring goals. Is it any wonder his leadership on the pitch is so ineffectual? Robson, Keane, Vidic, captains that earned the respect they commanded. He’s not befitting of the captaincy period.

We've had managers well respected for their ability to coach and implement a system apparently fail at United because they don't know how to coach, but could coach players perfectly well including to the very pinnacle of the game. Seems weird.

Maybe it's less a problem of coaching but who is being coached. Like you have excellent students and you have those in remedial. United are the remedial class.

Shocking Set Piece defending. I've a hard time picking which on was worse. Probably the second if I had to chose.

Infuriating how often we've been offside too. They're clearly good at catching teams out but we can't keep playing into that. There are goals there to be gotten. I really feel like we needed to get one back before half time to truly have a chance of a turnaround but still. So annoying it took until we conceded two to actually start playing.
