Villa isnt even trying that hard really especially after the 2nd goal, meanwhile we look disorganized, bereft of ideas, and just shit to watch really.

I accept that many of these players are just shit, Bruno & Rashford in particular, but Ten Hag is also clueless himself, he has no ideas on how to get these players resemble a unit.

We didnt just let De Gea go.. we withdrew a contract offer and spent 50m on Onana..
De Gea had flaws, but this might be one of the biggest downgrades in world football.. not forced .. just because ETH is a moron.

Ten Hag has ruined the club.. there is absolutely nothing to play for this season.. Not a fecking thing.. we wont get relegated. We wont get CL.. we are out of Europe and the league cup.. might get a win or two in the FA cup, but that's about it.

Just build for next season.. start selling players we dont need.. and please get a new keeper and manager.. no one deserves this..

Erik buys a ball playing player so we can pass at the back and that's what we do. We spent so much time passing to Onana that we don't know how to attack now. Onana is the only one that wouldn't shot on shot. WTF is wrong with this fraud manager. None of his 2nd year buy has work out, none. Onana, Mount, Hoijund so far has been consider a failures. How is that even possible? 3 out of 3 bust. Must be a record.

Hojlund getting shit tons of flack in a game where he's actually not been bad... the problem is forcing a style that doesn't work for 3 of the 4 defenders playing, and Dalot's no way near good enough to compensate even a little bit for it.

That's heavily on ETH, but I'm not sure what he's supposed to do about it either, well not force a system that can't work with 3 defenders who don't want to play it actually.

The general lack of IQ amongst the likes of Bruno, Rashford, Dalot, Garnacho (although still young) is crazy. Everything is rush to the goal as quickly as possible, try a killer pass, shoot from every angle. Ineos will need to make a decision, stick with these players and we have to be content playing 4 2 3 1 and our best weapon being the counter because thats the only way to exploit the likes of Bruno, Rashford. If they actually want us to become a true technical team then they need to start by getting rid of a lot of these players chiefly Bruno, Rashford, Dalot, AWB, Varane, who all either don't have the technical ability or the IQ.

Maybe just me but I feel the reaction since going 2 down have been more the players digging in and trying to create something (chaotic as it may be) rather than any tactical plan from the manager. You can see how less fixed to a position our players are since. And the wingers are more willing to make diagonal runs (partly aided by Villa's famous high line), but we weren't doing that in those first 20 minutes.

Don't know what to make of it all really. One things for sure, our players are technically poor compared to the best clubs - maybe even poorer than some mid table clubs in this league.

As much as that looks bad for keepers I’d think you’d be hard-pressed to find any goalkeeper in history who hasn’t conceded a goal like that. The GK often has to react for any kind of touch on it. His actual error is not being a couple years further out to then claim the ball.
