As shocking as we always are, it’s hard not to get annoyed by the details. If we were switched on in defence we wouldn’t be letting set pieces sail in. Similarly, a switched on attack would have punished Villa’s high line at least once.

Being shite is bad enough, but watching the daft things we do makes it even worse. It’s largely self-inflicted sabotage.

Our shooting is very poor. Its an absolute basic that if you're towards the side you should shoot across the goal. Must have been 3 or so shots from the left side where the attacker has dragged a shot near side and missed the goal, not even trying to do the right thing
