Unless they decided to go on a suicide mission Bielsa style, then no. What I would say though is that I feel Liverpool will slip somewhere between now and the derby. Will I've got a feeling trump the great 'it's in our hands' chain of last season?I think this will be a much more open game than wolves. We've played alot but have a decent sized squad and for example lindelof, mctominay, fred, van de beek, martial should all feel quite rested with Greenwood also removed early during the week.
The results we've ground out over this period are a direct consequence of strengthening our depth. There is no chance we have our current points haul with lingard, pereira and ighalo among our go to options
Oh nonsense! Nothing galvanises you more than a win. Our defence had little to do so tiredness won’t be an issue.

Not watched Villa much this season but I assume from their results and table position they’ve played in quite an expansive manner? Hopefully it’s a goalfest with us coming out on top

Was just talking to a mate of mine about this. I'm really hoping it will be an open game with lots of back and forth, but wouldn't be surprised if they'd setup much more defensively due to our counter-attacking prowess.Really should be winning this but we won't. Chance to pull even with Liverpool in points? We have bottled these types of things. Might not even get 1 game as 2nd place because Everton could beat West Ham going 2 points above us before we even play.
In other seasons we've slipped up trying to get into the top 4.
