I think LVG would be more inclined to give him a run out against Villa. Liverpool was too much of a risk given his dip in form and issues off the pitch with the break in.Di Maria on the bench again we reckond?
Yup. More of the same please.
The only change I am tempted to make is Shaw instead of Blind, who lacks pace and looks vulnerbale at times.
I would rather have Januzaj on than Di Maria at the moment, he has a nice pass now and again but the majority of the time i find myself frustrated watching him give stupid passes away, he always tries to make the hard pass than the simple one or shoots from 40 yards out and is way wide,
Apart from that same team as today with Rojo for Jones and if young is injured Januzaj for him although it will be Di Maria
Why would anyone want Januzaj to start ahead of Di Maria? *shakes head*
Di Maria on the bench again we reckond?
Di Maria, Rojo and Valencia have arrived back in Mannchester just yesterday afternoon.....that means just one training session before the Aston Villa matchDi Maria on the bench again we reckond?
If RvP is back i think Fellaini will be the victim.
Against Villa? Not a chance, he'll rightly play.
Fellaini I think, is undroppable.
He provides us with Plan A and Plan B is almost completely based on him playing. He is our Plan B.
I think De Gea, Blind, Carrick, Rooney, Fellaini - these are our undroppable players, though LVG now knows his best team (the starting 11, who started against LFC and Tottenham) and I expect that team to start, if at all possible.
Why change/fix a team which isnt broken?
If Young is not injured, then I think Di Maria will come off the bench...just as in LFC.
We shall find out though within 24 hours, who is ahead in the pecking order - Young or ADM.
Because you have to find out if it can be better. Rooney was the obvious weak link vs Liverpool. Its obvious that LVG considers replacing him with RvP when RvP is fit, in the exact same formation/XI. But then again he wouldn't completely drop Rooney, but move him back to midfield OR LW. If he goes back to midfield, Fellaini will be the victim. And be used as a plan B.
ps. i know what LVG said today. Im just pointing out the obvious, if we had a striker change.
Starting XI
Bench: Valdes, Rafael, McNair, Shaw, Di Maria, Januzaj, Falcao
