Genuinely hope we are in a position where we can bring Adnan, Pereira and Rafael get a chance to come on. Won't happen though.

Di Maria and falcao will come on ahead of them

And so Pereira is on the bench once again. Promising signs if you ask me.

Got 11/11 but will probably drop out of the top 5 because I have Shaw as a sub. :(

Right decision staying with the same team. Could make a case for Di Maria over Young, but good option from the bench.

Made a late switch to bring Young back in for Di Maria. I think Van Gaal would have been keen to play that anyway and can use the excuse of travelling and international time for it. 11/11 :)

    Official.

Villa are puzzling - because on paper, that is not a bad side. But....

Love the fact LVG is sticking with the same lineup, lineup which works.

Rojo-Jones is a little concern since they're both too rash sometimes but we should definitely win this one.

Was hoping di maria would get a start but it wouldn't be on merit of course. Van Gaal clearly rewarding good performances and staying true to his word, play well and you'll stay in the team no matter who is the competition.

Ah bollocks, forgot to switch Smalling out of the lineup. Otherwise I'd have got 11/11.

Lineups are nice and easy to predict now :D

Good team. Di Maria also played both games for Argentina on international duty, no need to start him right away.

Good line up again although I'd like to see Di Maria start, Young has been decent though so I can't complain.

Right choice. Di Maria can come on in the second half and hopefully show something special ahead of City.

Still leading the modmin mini league. Granted, I don't think any of the other modmins bother with the lineup prediction but it's still a win in my book.

they've got some pace on the counter, but hopefully we continue where we left off.

Young was arguably our worst player against Liverpool which is why he came off. He offered nothing going forward. Can't help but feel these good performances coincide with mata, Herrera and Fellaini working together and carrick being back in the side as beforehand we were bang average. Di Maria will hopefully be on later and have a good cameo. We could do with some threat down the left.

Even though Young has been brilliant I do wonder if it was an opportunity of playing Di Maria into form possibly by slotting him into a confident team ahead of City and Chelsea games. I do see the logic of keeping the momentum going though.

Yeah, he wasn't poor and kept width and helped defensively, just created nothing really going forward. Was just average. Di Maria offers more creativity and is an assist machine so I thought this would be a good game for him to get some confidence back, which would be useful with the big games coming in the coming weeks.

Young was definitely better than Rooney and plus he did well to help Blind keep Sterling quiet. WHen Di Maria came on for Young, it affected our performance. Plus Young was amazing against Spurs.

Cast your mind back a year ago

Did any of us think that Di Maria would be playing for us and that he would be stuck on the bench?

    Madness isn't it? :D
Shows how strong our squad is :) More additions to come in summer too

Young did well helping Blind against Liverpool, and he went off because of injury.

The team dropped off massively before he came on. Even lvg admitted that. Amazing, bloody hell. Calm down. He's been a massive surprise this season but let's not fool ourselves into thinking he's the answer.

Must win especially with Arsenal result and Man City not playing until Monday.

Benteke will be a worry, I just feel Jones and Rojo just get dominated aerially too much like against West Ham and Swansea. Where both sides looked dangerous from set pieces.

I prefer Young over Di Maria.
