I think this one will be closer than some believe on here.
2-1 win with a late winner.
2-1 win with a late winner.
Id go with that
Yep, me too. Blind and Young on the bench in case we need to add stability.
If we win this game, we effectively 'make safe' the points gained against Spurs and Liverpool. That will give us space to potentially drop points to Chelsea, in the same way that winning our other remaining games after that (including Arsenal) would probably give us enough of a cushion to drop points against City.
Jones and Smalling. We'll get at least 2 injuries during the internationals... let's try guess who they'll be.
One will be Carrick I bet.
If the rest of the team carry on as they have been, i'd even consider resting rooney and playing falcao on his own up top
Happened last time he went with England for international duty didn't it?We'll get at least 2 injuries during the internationals... let's try guess who they'll be.

Yeah he has pulled out of the squad because of a injury but it wasn't a serious one.Happened last time he went with England for international duty didn't it?
I'd be happy with that.Young could have a place in that team though on the left somewhere, in place of ADM or Blind. At last it seems our best eleven is becoming apparent.---------------------------De Gea--------------------
--Valencia-------Smalling-----Jones-------Blind--
--------------------------Carrick--------------------
-----------------Herrera-----------Fellaini--------
------J Mata------------------------------Di Maria--
---------------------------Rooney-------------------
Why make 4 changes to a winning team?
It's a better team. The key to these past 2 results has been the central midfield trio/4-3-3. I haven't changed that. Rafael will be keen to prove a point. Shaw is better defensively than Blind. Valencia hasn't been bombing forward like Blind. Rafael would do the bombing and Shaw with more defensive responsability. Di Maria won't defend as much as Young but he needs to find some confidence and what better game to do it in than AV at home. Jones has been decent but Rojo is the better player.
You clearly haven't been watching the games.
Blind's work down the left channel with Young and Fellaini has been a key factor as has Valencia's work behind Mata.
The only change in inclined to agree with is Rojo in for Jones.

Yes, i have been watching the games. The Spurs game twice. Yes, Blind has been excellent. Young consistent like all season, he's been my highest average rated player. Valencia has done the job. Can there be no rotation for the rest of the season then, even against AV at home? Is Rafael 100% out the door?
What's the benefit of rotation at a time we need to be gaining momentum and games are coming at a rate of one per week?
Think they were saying the City game.Damn it is Van Persie back for this one?
Ok, ok, ok. You're right. I have been advocating that we stick to the same line-up for the rest of the season myself, don't know why i wanted so many changes. Shaw doesn't deserve to play and Rafael is a goner. I just fear what will happen with Di Maria if he doesn't get games.. Rojo should play instead of Jones, not changing my mind on that.
I'm with you on Rojo for Jones for what it's worth.
As for Di Maria, if he's not up for the fight of getting his spot back he really isn't worth the money we paid. Time for him to earn his fee, wages and reputation.
