Yeah, I'd put Shaw back if he's fit. I wouldn't mind seeing di Maria start ahead of Young either since I'm thinking/hoping this will be somewhat comfortable. Would be good for him if he could perform well at Old Trafford and get some confidence.Because of the timing of the games, we'll go ahead of City as they don't play until Monday night. Need to pile the pressure on them, they could be 4th by the time they kick off.

I think he has. He's been very good for us defensively, the only thing he's been lacking a bit is attacking wise and that will come with experience. He's our best LB.

Because he was poor today. His form over the last couple of games hasn't been anything special imo. He obviously scored that goal against Newcastle, but he doesn't create or score enough at the moment. He has had a great season, but most of his good performances came as a left wingback.

I think this is what we will see. Rojo makes sense as we would not want to risk getting Jones banned against City.
I would also like to see substitute appearances from Falcao, Shaw, and hopefully Rafael. Does it make sense to not play Rooney the full 90 minutes but rest him a bit ahead of our upcoming fixtures? If so, towards the end of the match switch to:

I think this would be quite balanced and provide a fair amount of chances for Falcao. I think Shaw-Blind-Di Maria can complement each others weaknesses down that left lane. Also, Rafael, Herrera, Mata down the right should be a joy of latin flair and give Rafa an instant welcome back to Van Gaal's team selection and - hopefully - future plans, if he performs.
Can't wait for this match. We must keep momentum going ahead of City and keep improving our performances. We will need all our players on form for this run-in.

I would give Fellaini a rest as he will have some big duels against City and Chelsea. I'd start Rojo probably as well. Not a lot of changes but enough to get people ready for the run in.- Status
