Schneiderlin should have done better for their goal. Really shit goal to concede at the worst possible time and of course it had to be f*cking Welbeck.

Given our injury crisis, it wouldn't be surprising if we throw it away after the break, but the most important thing here is the emergence of Marcus Rashford!!! Celebrated his goals like a mad man!

I think they were always going to score - and may well get more. We just have to continue to believe that we can get more than them and there is no reason why not, if...if we come out second half with the same level of intent. But it wasn't headless chicken stuff; I liked the measured approach and there were successes across the pitch against a cohesive unit used to playing together. Carrick on a yellow is a worry - he's been sound but I'm not sure he can go another 45 mins, so there will probably have to be changes and you never know how that will effect the dynamics.

Not confident still but a surprisingly great half that. Arsenal were want, the kids were class. Mata and Herrera class as well. A shame we conceded that soft goal, because it'll be tough to hold out for the second half I think. Hopefully Rashford gets the hat trick

Giroud must be on for Walcock surely?

Potential red card for us, is a worry.

Still suspect Arse may win this but we've done fantastic so far.

I've to disagree with the monreal chance. It was too close to Dave and I'd expect him to save it 9 times out of 10.
Yeah the shot, but the chance should be put away from the forward player, luckily it was a defender and not Sanchez

Schneiderlin is the biggest disappointment of the half.

He's one of the senior guys. He should be the one manning up and being the leader.

    Yes indeed.

With Carrick and Blinds' lack of pace against Arsenals electric front line, I genuinely expected a spanking, but our lads have run their socks off so far and are deservedly ahead.

Not sure what to expect second half. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Arse turn the game on its head though, would you?

It's going to be difficult, I imagine Arsenal will come at us with more intensity in the 2nd half, but we have the potential to catch them on the counter. Fact is if you'd offered me a point before kick-off I'd have taken it so I hope we can at least get that.

I just had a thought. They still have Giroud to come on.

Set pieces are only going to get worse.

I expected nothing going into this game but I would be very disappointed now if we don't at least get a point

Even if we go on to lose I'll be impressed with the lads after that. Expected us to lose 2 or 3-1 with Arsenal dominating much more of the game.

Hopefully we can take a result here and help out Leicester. All going their way this weekend so far.

Need to stay defensively composed, think we got to too excited but that lead. Halftime came just in time. Create a few more chances and we can get another, Arsenal look shaken

Both sides playing well when they have the ball, a bit iffy when they don't.

Need a good pep talk from LVG.

I think we are going to have a sending off, too many cards already.

Potential red card for us, is a worry.

Still suspect Arse may win this but we've done fantastic so far.
Arse can't afford to drop points here so I think it will be attack all the way from them but they do look a little vulnerable so who knows. Much will depend on LVGs half time team talk and subs. I would consider bringing McNair on after 60, Varela can't put another tackle in

Arsenal lucky to still be in the game, they've been woeful. Hopefully we continue the same way second half and we'll win this game.

God damn the supposedly "British" coverage of the football saying that the entire country is freezing, and once again this generalisation doesn't apply to Scotland. It's 6 degrees here ffs - that's string vest and kilt wearing weather.

I've been working down in London the past 2 months and first thing I noticed was the amount of people wearing gloves.

Southern softies the lot of 'em!

Gutted we didn't hang on until half time, but give me 2-1 at half time and I would have snapped your hand off.

They are going to come out hard and fast at half time so we've got to be ready.

Such a soft goal to concede.

Felt like we needed to get to halftime at 2-0

I had sa feeling it was going to happen near the end of the half but still wanted to deny that it would. Lo and behold, it did and it was Welbeck. Because of course it was.

Hopefully we can take a result here and help out Leicester. All going their way this weekend so far.
    Agreed on both counts.

Really proud of the effort so far. Remember we played a game less than 72 hours ago.
