Not seen a lot of Arsenal, do they play with a high line and do they tend to change their tactic to the opponent? Think it would be pretty naive to try and play a high line vs us with the speed in attack we have

They don't really play a high line. Their formation is fluid so at any given time in the game, it changes and causes a lot of problems.

We will be exhausted physically. Unfortunately, I do not see us winning, thus a draw is the best hope. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worse, a tight loss.

Would rest Eriksen here as we can't risk burning him out. Bring in Casemiro for his first start. Rashford should be dropped 100% and although I don't think he'll be ready, I'd love to see Antony on the right.

Even having slept on it, I'd still be playing Eriksen and McT before Casemiro. I think Casemiro may start, but it would be at Elanga's expense with Bruno pushed wide and Eriksen central.
I think you may need a longer sleep. Edit: basically what @AndySmith1990 says.

Are we expecting Antony to start? I'd much rather he plays this game than the Europa League game midweek. Arsenal are very high on confidence after winning 5 from 5 and they are getting goals from everywhere. Even their centerbacks chipped in with a couple of goals. Going to be a very tough fixture for us.

Second real test! Hope we get Ronaldo instead of Elanga or Rashford tbh.

They're weak in the middle though.as it's highlighted last night in the dead line day where they looked at Douglas Luiz to solve their lack of options in the middle..Elneny out for months, Party weeks from returning and Odegaard is a fitness doubt. We could be all over them just like that Liverpool game where we faced Henderson and Milner. I'm feeling positive about this encounter come Sunday and looking forward to see Antony make his debut at OT.

By not starting either Ronaldo or Casemiro last game (we barely won) i'm hoping he intends to start them on Sunday. We had a lot of yellow cards last game so i'm a little concerned about our defensive cover with AWB and Shaw being doubtful.

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    McT Casemiro
    Bruno
    Antony Ronaldo Sancho

Vitally important we win the midfield battle. Can’t allow them to control the game particularly if Odegaard is available.

    De Gea
    Dalot
    Varane
    Martinez
    Malacia
    Casemiro
    Fred
    Eriksen
    Antony
    Sancho
    Ronaldo

Rashford, Elanga, Fernandes, McTominay, Maguire can all start in the Europa.

    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    McT Casemiro
    Sancho Bruno Rashford
    Ronaldo

Think the game will come too soon for Antony unfortunately and Ronaldo actually looked like he cared last night.

Such a shame we haven't had Martial available this season, played 45 minutes and was involved in a goal. Rashford needs shifting out of the centre no matter what.

OT will be up for this, especially with our last 3 results With their issues in the middle of the park, they might even play a little scared in that they don't want to lose their good start and if we get a jump on them from the off, much like Liverpool, think we will hurt them.

Maybe this is the game Casemiro starts as it's at home, other than that, would like to see Ronaldo come in at CF. Having one of Elanga/Rashford off the bench and Antony to help turn the screw as the game goes on will be nice. Ronaldo had a decent showing off the bench but, he isn't going to scare defenses or put them on their heels or press like crazy like the other will.

Looking forward to watching this, has the makings of a really good game.

    Or Danish ones...

I can understand, that some of them could be difficult, but only if you are planning a road trip at the beginning of new school and you need to make a list of all your class mates and figure it out how to write it, hearing them for the first time, but if you are a football fan, and all you need to do is to remember, that player in your team is ERIK SEN is not that difficult and anyone that can't check it and remember how to spell 20 names, talking about them and writing about their performances for the next few years is just lazy and i do not have respect for that kind of people.
Yeah, Danish ones are difficult too. I suppose that punctuates the point. Erik sen it is then.

looking at the way ETH is easing Casamiro in i dont see anthony starting.

We looked exhausted after Leicester. Don’t see us winning this. Arsenal are very good and unlike the last three teams we’ve played, have goalscoring confidence. Gobsmacked if we keep a clean sheet.

I gotta disagree. Looks as if we came on stronger during the last twenty minutes than any kind of exhaustion.

I think you have the time wrong on the top of the page. It says 4:30am PST but it is actually at 8:30am PST.

It's in the script for Erik sen to score in this one. Anthony to come on around 60 minutes and a star will be born:cool:

Ben White apparently injured for Sunday now
Thats a bad thing for us, proper average footballer. Although to be fair I have no clue who his replacement would be. Can’t be arsed to watch arsenal play enough to know.

    De Gea
    Malacia Varane Martinez Dalot
    McTominay Erickson
    Elanga Ronaldo Sancho

Sub Casemiro and Antony on in the second half. Don’t think it’s fair to Antony for him to start this early. Rashford can come in if we are looking for a goal.
    Jesus Christ

Martial won't be fit for this. I'd give Ronaldo the start. Antony on the bench.

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Malacia
    McTominay Casemiro
    Sancho Bruno Rashford
    Ronaldo
Fred, Eriksen, Antony options from the bench.
I have the same starting XI, but no Eriksen - Donny instead. I think Eriksen is in need of a breather.

I fully expect Antony to replace Elanga

Casemiro seems an obvious change too but not sure if McT, Eriksen or even Bruno makes way for him. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench either and given 30 mins ahead of the full 90 in the EL

Don't see us losing, hopefully it's a win

Antony hasnt trained for weeks. Id be surprised if he made the bench.

Arsenal haven't played any of the big boys yet, Palace, Leicester, Fulham, Bournemouth and Villa are their five wins, three at home, so Sunday should be interesting. We're just starting to look like a team, all though we have quite a way to go, and going forward we still look a little weak, midfield is more solid, and I've seen signs of passing and movement that I haven't seen for a couple of years now. Defensively we are looking good, but we haven't faced a team as organised as Arsenal, who create lots of openings, this game will be an indication of how well they have gelled.
To me a draw is the likely outcome, but if Odegaard is missing, we may have a slight edge in midfield, but we need to create more in the opposition box, I still think our build up play is a little slow, but if Arsenal push us back then we may have a chance on the break with Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho and Bruno being the ones to instigate and hopefully finish off the breaks.

I believe he hasn't trained with Ajax, has he trained somewhere else, or at home?
Even if he has, if he's not ready then Ten Hag won't play him, and if he is a long way off being fit, then he certainly won't be on the bench, and I'm pretty sure he won't feature on Thursday.

He would have probably done some gym work but nothing like match training for around 3-4 weeks. Not sure that can be solved in two training sessions.
