United 4-1. Cracking game. New manager, new excitement, everyone will be out to impress. It ALWAYS happens.
Plus its arsenal, they are still rebuilding.
You’ll be rebuilding soon

Let's go Man Red
I'm not sure, but I think the officials might notice if we try to play with 12 men on the field.de gea
bailly lindelof maguire
lingard mctominay fred VDB telles
sancho bruno
ronaldo
SUBS; AWB Martial Amad, elanga
Every kid grows up dreaming of playing at Trad Bricks. In the old Pro Evolution Soccer games, United were called "Man Red" and City were called "Man Blue" due to the fact that PES lacked the naming rights.
Our recent performances show 0 ideas of how to pass the ball and do anything but defend deep. Individual quality on the counter attack could work just about enough though.Arsenal are developing into a pretty good team.
You’ll have to be way above most of your recent performances to beat them but you are capable if you get it right.
Rashford and Sancho will be the key.
Better than hoping for a loss
Ive come close to it at times this season
Looking at their PL results this season, they've beat most you would expect them to beat, and lost to those you'd expect them to lose to. They've taken a fair few batterings as well. Granted, not as much as we have but still, I think it's a pretty even match up at this point and I like our squad better. I like our chances more now even with Carrick in charge. We've had two good results and that seems to have lifted spirits. If Ole was still at the wheel, we'd lose this one for sure. My biggest concern is Maguire coming back into the lineup.Arsenal are developing into a pretty good team.

Et tu, Villain?
Please no Maguire or Mctom in this game

Don't stop a guy dreaming that meritocracy will become a thing within our squad! Bailly and Lindelof have both done better in his absence than he did when he was playing, mentally that must really set back Bailly when he is inevitable dropped despite performing well, must be thinking "What can I do?"Maguire comes straight back unfortunately. Club captain and all that.....
I personally thought Matic & Fred were better in that game, just a personal thing I don't think he would benefit us hereMctominay will definitely start, especially after his motm performance against chelsea.
Et tu, Villain?
We're really not, even if we lose 83-0.
We're only just in December, with the new manager not even in place yet.
Hopefully we break the recent poor record v Arsenal though, that will make things much more positive before we start a good run of fixtures.
I see all the possible lineups people have suggested.
Do we really not have a back up to AWB ?
I watched him closely on Sunday and he is absolutely woeful.
Feck that defensive shit! 0-0-10 all the wayGiven that this is Carrick's last game as interim, he should throw caution to the wind and go with a 2-3-5 formation.
One of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen, that. Should've conceded about 8 goals and only conceded 1. Incredible stuff. Not sure if it’s been mentioned but 4 years ago to the day 3-1 to United. Jesse scored twice and D’Gea heroic in goal .
same again please
it is important for arsenal to win games against "weaker" teams to get into top 6. There is zero chance Arsenal can win against City, Liverpool and Chelsea this season. The gap is way too big.Hard to judge how tough this will be, Arsenal are in decent form but it's mostly been against weaker teams.
I'm expecting a lose scoring game, both teams will be happy with a point.
The Spurs match in 18/19 is up there too. It was an otherwise poor season for De Gea, but he turned it on for that match for sure. One of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen, that. Should've conceded about 8 goals and only conceded 1. Incredible stuff.
That and de Gea's performance against Liverpool when we beat them 3-0 at home in van Gaal's first season are probably his best two performances here, in my opinion.
