Our recent performances show 0 ideas of how to pass the ball and do anything but defend deep. Individual quality on the counter attack could work just about enough though.Maguire needs to show up today. He’s been by some distance our worst player this season. looking at the tsunami of goals we’ve conceded this season, responsibility for it lies primarily — not exclusively, but primarily — lies at the feet of Harry Maguire.

Looking at their PL results this season, they've beat most you would expect them to beat, and lost to those you'd expect them to lose to. They've taken a fair few batterings as well. Granted, not as much as we have but still, I think it's a pretty even match up at this point and I like our squad better. I like our chances more now even with Carrick in charge. We've had two good results and that seems to have lifted spirits. If Ole was still at the wheel, we'd lose this one for sure. My biggest concern is Maguire coming back into the lineup.Please no Maguire or Mctom in this game

Don't stop a guy dreaming that meritocracy will become a thing within our squad! Bailly and Lindelof have both done better in his absence than he did when he was playing, mentally that must really set back Bailly when he is inevitable dropped despite performing well, must be thinking "What can I do?"
I personally thought Matic & Fred were better in that game, just a personal thing I don't think he would benefit us hereI can see VdB and Lingard getting a start here.
I admire your confidence. Brighton did us a favour last night with that late equaliser and West Ham are certainly punching at the moment but for me if we lose tonight, I think it will be very difficult to get into top 4 regardless of the new manager.

We didn't won at OT since Atalanta in CL on Oct 20th, and in PL it was on Sept 11th against Newcastle, almost 3 months without a win in PL. That's awful

One of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen, that. Should've conceded about 8 goals and only conceded 1. Incredible stuff.
That and de Gea's performance against Liverpool when we beat them 3-0 at home in van Gaal's first season are probably his best two performances here, in my opinion.Hard to judge how tough this will be, Arsenal are in decent form but it's mostly been against weaker teams.
I'm expecting a lose scoring game, both teams will be happy with a point.
it is important for arsenal to win games against "weaker" teams to get into top 6. There is zero chance Arsenal can win against City, Liverpool and Chelsea this season. The gap is way too big.
