That's a load of nonsense. There would be nothing to stop one of our defenders standing on the 'keepers foot whenever the opposition are in a dangerous position. It makes no sense. There was nothing wrong with De Gea, he could've easily got back up and saved that shot, but he chose to play for a freekick and it backfired.

Give over, watch any game with a competent ref and when the keeper goes down injured the game is stopped because it's blatantly obvious you can't play on with the keeper on the floor, there's been plenty of occasions where defenders collide with their keeper at corners and the like and the game is stopped when they go down, no different here.
