When the ball goes past our midfield they don't turn and react quick enough. Allows their men a split second to get ahead of them and get free

VAR wouldn’t have anything to adjudicate. Once the goal went in the ref doesn’t have any choice. It’s his sheer incompetence at looking at an injured goalkeeper 3-4 times and playing on that deserves the sack.

If that was the case then why did they allow the goal? Could it be because you don't stop the game when a defender steps on his goalies heel and he throws himself to the deck?
