I don’t think there will be too many changes for Thursday. 2 max, possibly 3. Maguire & Ronaldo will definitely start and possibly VDB but not 100% sure on that one. After Palace on Sunday, we’ve got a dead rubber game against Young Boys which we can rotate the whole team and field the reserve players/youngsters in if we wanted too.

It’s a huge game and one that I really want us to get one over on them and their deluded fanbase since they’ve had our number for the last few seasons now (can’t remember the last time we beat them in the league?). A win puts us two points behind them and a nice run of fixtures after that till West Ham in January. By then I’m sure (hopefully) we will have seen a much more improved team under RR with the players getting more accustomed to his team tactics and individual player instructions.

Arsenal are in-form probably one of the most in-form sides right now.. so a draw is a good result like against Chelsea but I bet redcafe and the media isn't as positive about the result if we draw against Arsenal as they was with the plucky Chelsea draw. Even if we play better, have more shots etc all stats are better than the Chelsea game.

I would hate it if we approach this game like a relegation side again, on the back foot with reactive football. Arsenal have been quite good over the past month, but this relegation type football is getting really sickening.

They aren't as good as the top sides either in playing out the back or when pressing (got whacked around by City, Pool, Chelsea etc.). At best they're our level, so it should at the very least be a 50-50 game.

I think Greenwood will come back in for Sancho, as he looked knackered when he came off on Sunday. Ronaldo for Matic, Maguire for Bailly although it should be Lindelof in all honesty. Not sure on Shaws fitness, was it not concussion protocols that have kept him out, he'll likely start if fit.

Close the gap on a top 4 rival, new manager bounce, build on a solid draw with Chelsea away and we owe them for recent results.

2-0 in a solid performance.
