On the other we're limping along at the moment and a change of manager to one that actually plays good football might be quite nice after 3 managers who traditionally play shite football. Yeah I've never really got that. Thats why my Location is taken from a Pogue Mahone post wanting us to lose so we get rid of Moyes. It was of course several people suggesting they want that. Now we have the same with Mourinho. I guess its not surprising given we've had it with the other managers. Erm...you must not know a lot about Conte. He's talking about the opposite of the point you made. Conte is very strict in the tactical shape of the team when defending, whereas Mourinho expects you to adapt your positioning to the situation.
The players that played for him at Juventus said the same thing. He goes mental when you are out of position. It has nothing to do with 'coaching attacking play' because no top coach tries to micro-manage attackers.
I can guarantee you that Pep Guardiola tells his wide attacker to stay high and wide off the ball, and when they get on the ball they can do their own thing. Not only is it obvious watching them, but its confirmed by former players that they arent told what to do in the final third.
