    I can't complain about the formation, I would have gone for the same players. This is gonna be a game of counters, so we need Bruno's long balls to be accurate and Garnacho and Rashy to be making runs all day long. The first minute will be crucial, let's try not to concede within 14 seconds please
     
    Just looking at that 11 from City + options from the bench and it's ridiculously good, just makes you lose belief we can get a result.

    Mainoo-Amrabat midfield is logical with Casemiro injured. Not sure if Bruno will play fake 9 or McTominay but Hojlund coming on later is probably good decision, he's been better that way lately. Harsh on Amad not starting as he deserved it more than Rashford but hopefully at least it being cup final can motivate Rashford to put out a decent performance. Which I believe he will do (perhaps deluded). Like Garnacho more on right side so I'm fine with him starting there.

    Wan Bissaka worries me and so does Martinez-Varane pairing given they are probably still raw.

    It was really difficult to see us beating them last year and it's not different now. Actually think best time to play City recently was Fa Cup semis when they were exhausted physically and mentally and Chelsea couldn't take advantage of that (Nicolas Jackson especially).

    Rashford is definitely faster than Garnacho. Whether he's used his pace effectively is a totally different question. But Garnacho is well behind. Hojlund v Rashford I'd like to see as Hojlund is supposed to be a sub 11.100m pace guy

    Garnacho is surprisingly slow. He's not even quick on a standalone level.

    Hojlund is reported to be a sub 11 for 100m. That is seriously quick and would be a great watch v Rashford.

    There is nothing much wrong with that line up in my view. Rashford has come up with big moments in big games before, has the pace for the counter.

    Plenty of bodies in the midfield and decent options from the bench - lots of time to be able to bring Amad or Hojlund on.

    He's not slow but he's certainly a different tier to Rashford and Hojlund who'd be in the elite group in the league.
     
    Would be great if the Fa Cup final and quali for the Monaco grand Prix could be at different times.....
     
    Are people just completely speculating regarding Casemiro, or is there actual evidence that he refused to be on the bench?
     
    Expecting City to have 65-70% possession running rings around our team. Best hope is City leaves their shooting boot at home. Suddenly Rashford is fit, what a coincidence? ETH conveniently select him. Wherever Erik goes, please ask your new club to buy Rashford, Antony, Mount and Onana.
     
    So Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle fans surely cheering for City (for different reasons). Arsenal fans really don't like us but perhaps they're sick of City after finishing behind them these 2 seasons? Spurs fans probably want City to win like they did 11 days ago :D

    For me he's slow. Trent can outpace him. Hojlund and Rashford are very fast
     
    I said recently, many times, that Amad would be dropped for the final. EtH hates him and is unable to see that he's far better than Rashford and Antony.
