Could be 2 up to be fair. If Rashford hits that halve volley clean it goes in.

Rashford and Garnacho need to offer something else going the other way, City just aren't scared we'll do anything. I'm not surprised, other than his wonderful goal Rashford has been quite weak and hesitant on the ball. Same goes for Garnacho. They look scared when they have the ball.

Pretty frustrating to see that we’re actually able to play with some discipline but haven’t done so for much of the season

Well I didn’t think we could score, and I didn’t think we’d keep a clean sheet. I hope I remain right on the last one.

Everyone putting in the shift, no shale now just sitting in, killing the game if we can because we were far to open then.

Crazy game and enjoying every minute while we’re up but we’re lucky to be playing against 10 men because Doku is fecking shite.

No idea how we’re up but I’ll take it.

Brilliant to be a goal up, but we are so far off from being anywhere near city and challenging for titles.

No chance we hold on playing the same way in the second half, we need to be able to keep the ball better in midfield otherwise it’s only a matter of time,

Mourinho-esqe tactics that can frustrate everyone. I love it.
We need to keep making them aware that we can hurt them on counterattack.

I mean, based on that half I still think we're going to lose.

But it's been a good effort defensively

I’d stick with Garnacho. He’s had poor first half’s before this season and then kicked into gear in the second half.

We didn’t play well, to be frank, but it was to be expected. We need points more than performance quality

Great first half from Onana. Evans has been pretty good too.

Going to need to be even better in the 2nd half if City arent going to score

Haaland's XG on that howler must have been at least 0.9! Crazy but I'll take it :D

Sidenote: How the blue heck have City not managed to sell this game out?

Other than the goal they’ve literally battered us and if you think the first half was bad they’re about to up the tempo in the second half. Hold on tight.

    Other than the goal?

And maybe the fact they haven't scored also?

We're winning ffs. Have faith haha

Brilliant to be a goal up, but we are so far off from being anywhere near city and challenging for titles.
Feels like the Ole days, enjoying the moment and no matter what happens next we'll always have that half

Been lucky, but the threat was there first 20 mins, need to get that back second half to take some pressure off. Can't fault the workrate, getting very little of the ball but everyone is putting the effort in. Most disciplined we have seen Cas this season, doing very well, Evans has been incredible given his age.

Rashford has been abysmal apart from the worldie. Garnacho too. Bruno actually... has been good which is very surprising. Playing clever without totally going into donkey mode. Mainoo excellent off the ball. Dalot been great. Onana MOTM

We are certainly conceding though. You can't hold out for another 45 minutes of box camping

Very very fortunate to be going in at the break with a goal lead. City have battered us which was to be expected but we’ve really gotten away with it so far, especially with Haaland potentially missing the biggest sitter of the season. There is however a chance for us on the break, we lost that in the final 15min of the half there but if we can find a way to get that going again we’ve got a shot.

Oh, awesome goal by Rashford too.

The space in behind City is insane. One moment of composure and we could easily get a second

Heroic defending from the lads, especially Onana and Varane.

Will need to keep our heads and a lot of luck if we're going to come away with the win here.

We've been so conditioned into this defensive style of play by City at this point, we're not going anywhere offensively for the rest of the match. A city goal and it's curtains

Score should be 3-1 us. Rash has to take at least one of those chances. Sigh. But since Rash's second chance, we've stopped playing. As soon as someone gets on the ball, Garnacho/Rash has to start making the run into the channels to give us an option at least.
