That bench, how on earth we've ended up here with the amount of money we've spent is unbelievable. We'll likely get turned over and people will criticise EtH but we've got Evans starting at CB, no recognised striker, an 18 year old in CM and a wafer thin bench.

That kind of bench is usually what we will see for the league cup. Never expect that for a Derby against city after spending tons of money for past years.

What is that City team!??

Walker and Foden are going to destroy Lindelof. I can see Foden going for a hattrick. Him and Haaland.

    City win 7:0.

Could it be Lindelof and Bruno on the right, Dalot and Garnacho on the left?

I've stuck a quid on a bet that includes Haaland getting a hattrick. Only thing I can see stopping it happening is him being taken off to be rested

    Sky had it as -
    Onana
    Iceman Varane Evans Dalot
    Bruno Case Mainoo
    McSauce
    Rash. Garnacho

All that money spent and we end up with that bench :(

I really hope someone is investigating why we have all these injuries, because it's fecking costing us. However let's not forget Liverpool have multiple injuries and still seem able to win :(
Yeah same as last season when they only missed Van Dijk and turned to shite

It’s a free hit. We have no chance in reality

Of course we do, they've only narrowly beaten worse teams recently. Surely our extra quality counts for something? We've also beaten them previously when we were completely written off. A good game plan where everybody understands their jobs (and their job makes sense in the first place) and there's always a chance.

I would classify myself as a pretty diehard fan. I spend a significant amount of my time posting on a Manchester United message board. I could walk past most our bench in the street and simply not recognise them

Amrabat? I think he's performed better there than Lindelof, and can invert as a midfielder. Either way, neither of them are specialists and ten Hag obviously has his reasons.
The problem is that then on the right side Lindelof would face Doku!
A sword which cuts on two sides unfortunately.

If we win will you be giving credit to ETH or the players? Or both?

We managed a 0-0 against Liverpool, who have been better than City this season.

Looking forward to this. I always enjoy international matches

We should stick Rashford back on the left, Garnacho back right and have McTominay play as a false nine.

Most expensive squad in the world. This is how badly run we are!

Wow, if they switch Doku to the right Lindelof is gonna have to retire after this game.

I hope Rashford is not playing striker, but ETH has no creative mind so I expect him there. We'll play him there every match until he scores and then claim it works.

Last time Evan’s started a derby at the Ethiad was when RvP scored the last minute free kick

    You have to laugh
