This is one of those games where I honestly don't even see how we score a goal let alone come away with a result sadly. The absences we have, we'll have absolutely 0 hold up play and then hope they have a horrid finishing day.... Liverpool had 34 shots against us and we managed to grind out a 0-0, will need to be even more lucky today.

I just don't want a hammering, fecking please.

I can't abide another 5 or 6 goal mauling with that revolting thing they have up front leading the way.

I wasn't completely serious writing that. It's more how he supports United on social media all the time even though he was with us for a year and a half. Meanwhile he spent most of his career at Bayern and it feels like he tweets more about United. Maybe I'm wrong.

Isn't he a United fan, though? If not, I know he, along with his brother, have always been very fond of United, so I guess supporting them comes natural to them. However, as you say, it is very nice to see.

Sorry if someone already posted this. We don't deserve the support he's been giving us all these years.

What? he posts tweets every now and again. Such magnanimity from a player who spent half of his time here flying to America to watch his girlfriend play tennis, and then other half injured

It's absolutely not acceptable, but our current owners will accept it. They accepted 7-0 Vs Liverpool. Imagine if a Madrid manager had lost a game 7-0 to Atletico and kept their job!
The context of that 7-0 is we played a good first half, fell apart trying to get back into the game and freak finishing (xG was 3 or less).

A lot will depend on whether City score early on.
But it United can hold out till the 2 nd half, then we might just might stand a chance.
I will be watching through the fingers of my hands over my eyes.
It could be a very long 90+ minutes if we concede early.
So please... not another FA Cup final repeat.

We still won a couple of trophies but our decline as a club started in 2009. We have not recovered. Looking back, Ferguson trying to sugar-coat that summer is quite funny. The Glazers are poison.
"No value in the market" ... Went from Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez to Chicha (no disrespect) and Welbeck

The pundits are calling 4, 5 or 6 goals to City.
A certain solid win for them.
I’m off to the airport and can’t watch it and won’t be able to get the score until tomorrow.
I’m not going to bother finding out.

Great news. Your flight might have a channel with live sports broadcast. :smirk:

Man City’s last 4 premier league games

    1-0 v Brentford
    1-0 v Bournemouth
    1-1 v Chelsea
    2-0 v Everton

If it's a 4 or 5 goal margin of defeat as some are predicting it will say a lot more about this group of United players in a Derby than it will City.

I've got a feeling they're going to be poor today. If they're poor then they'll play onto our hands with the high line, it would just rely on us to keep it tight at the back but I'm sure we'll park the bus big time today as we did against the scousers.

Are they just there with the team or is there a chance they might be fit?

Would be hilarious if we pulled off a result today. Just asked two of my neighbours if they’re looking forward to the game and both said “nah, not really”.

Come on lads. Rashford to score, he always bags in these games.

I should be excited, don’t know why all I feel is dread.

Could be a game were our kick and rush style actually works. No optimistic delusion at play there no.
